First of all, I was SO happy to return to this truly exceptional restaurant! I was starting to miss it! Then, Tristan honored me by showing me his kitchen (!), and I was able to discover his creations. They were successful and remarkable! The (homemade) foie gras is always fantastic (even in May!) As for the langoustine ravioli…a real treat! And the chocolate and ice cream dessert…supreme delight! I'll check my emails because I was sure I'd already replied to this request for a review!! The restaurant at Caen Castle is truly a great place to eat if you're in the area. The service is professional and excellent. The ingredients in the dishes are very well chosen and incredibly flavorful. Furthermore, the presentation is absolutely beautiful. The dessert menu is also very good!

I love Le Mancel! Delicious, expertly prepared dishes made with quality ingredients. Special mention for the service: warm, professional, and attentive from start to finish. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend!

We had dinner at the restaurant on New Year's Eve. The food was generally good. However, the wines were sometimes served much later than the food, so occasionally the food was cold by the time the wine arrived. For the price, this is unacceptable.
