Popotes sur Caen

Great place for lunch, delicious food. Better than something like a kebab.

Great home cooked food. The young lady who runs/owns this business cooks and serves all the food. Lunch is a hot/cold offering which can be taken away or eaten in the small are or outside. No problem here about food sourcing, it's all made here. A local go to. A super find against the 'tourist restaurants' nearby. 100% recommended. A plus is that the owner speaks English.

Quick meal at a great price; a warm and welcoming restaurant.

Fantastic experience! The food is excellent and fresh! The owner makes everything from scratch and even gives you great tips for recreating the recipes at home! Thank you for your passion for sharing and for good food!

This isn’t a fancy place, but everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The menu is fairly small, and it’s the kind of place you’ll appreciate most if you’re a foodie who enjoys trying new dishes. If you’re looking for classic, familiar options, you might not find what you’re after. The quality-to-price ratio is outstanding, and every dish exceeded our expectations. I only wish I had a place like this near my office—it would easily become one of my regular lunch spots. Highly recommended!

High-quality, homemade products – we thoroughly enjoyed them two days in a row. There was no need to look any further for our short stay. The girls from the Dordogne thank you for your kindness, the reservation, and your advice (we left with some tripe! 😉)
