I've been going here for 20 years, since I was a kid, and I never get tired of this bar. When you know the waiters and the owner, it's a real treat to come here for a drink and to meet up during the holidays, whether it's peak season or off-season. The bar with the best view in Le Lavandou is right here: it's the Calypso.

Excellent cappuccino, served with friendliness. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean while enjoying a delicious hot drink, this is the place to go 🤌🏻

An ideal setting when you're on the Lavandou promenade. Special mention for the service, which we found perfect (we left with two bottles of Gambetta 😂).

We've been going to Le Lavandou for many years. Calypso is a must! Latte and espresso for Mom and me. The service is incredibly friendly! Despite the large number of guests, there's time to chat for a bit. Simply amazing. Delicious omelets and other snacks. In the afternoon, we bought Tropezian pastries and cakes from the small bakery and enjoyed them with coffee at Calypso. Fantastic. A warm hello to the entire staff. 🍀🥰

A typical French bar with a terrace in front of the restaurant, just 5 meters from the sea. Everyone meets here after work or after a visit to the market for a drink or a bite to eat before dinner. It's simply lovely to sit outside on the street, a pressed glass or a pastis/rosé on the table, and watch the hustle and bustle of the crowd. From the simple working man to the banker, everyone is represented here. Many French people and tourists alike enjoy coming here. The food is rather rustic, but delicious. The croque madame is a huge portion, so it's best to share it with someone ;-) I would definitely go there after the market to see for myself. As so often happens in life: one person loves it, the other runs away screaming...
