A small but very handy shop. The owner is lovely and always happy to advise on the local and artisanal products he offers. Depending on what's available, he also carries croutons from the baker, which go perfectly with a delicious tapenade!

A very convenient mini-market just steps from Saint-Clair beach. The welcome is always warm and the staff are truly pleasant. Prices are what you'd expect from a local shop in a tourist area, but you can also find products at very reasonable prices. They have a little bit of everything. The bread is excellent, and they also have fruits and vegetables, bags of ice, and all the essentials for a quick grocery shop. A very handy place that I highly recommend.

Virgil's welcome is as friendly as ever. A wide range of products for quick shopping trips. The bread depot is very convenient, saving you a trip into town. An excellent local shop.

08/07/2025: A wonderful discovery, both for the setting (facing the sea), the selection on offer, the flavor of the dishes, the good value for money and the warm welcome (thank you Romane!). A must-try!
08/07/2025: Very kid-friendly and the food is amazing! We'll be back next time we're in the area! The lunch menu was incredibly delicious!

Les Sables d'Or

10/08/2026: We spent the day at Les Sables d'Or, renting a sun lounger and having lunch at the restaurant. The lounger was comfortable, but unfortunately, no server came to check if we needed anything. The meal was good, but incredibly slow. They even asked us if we wanted the dessert menu before we'd even received our main courses. Anyway, I guess these things happen... But when the bill arrived, I was glad I checked, and at least four or five items had been added to our bill that weren't ours. We still have fond memories of the day, though!
10/08/2026: Great place, a bit too many mattresses but otherwise I recommend it.
