Le Cannier sur La Seyne-Sur-Mer

Magnificent place. Room and balcony with sea view. Feet in the water and that's it. Clean room but it's old. Take the time to redo your rooms. The place deserves adequate rooms. For the restaurant, well presented but food neither good nor bad. Excessive price. Personal level, the boss who keeps asking us if we paid for the meal (paid the same evening) and when we leave if we have paid for everything for the room (we paid everything on arrival)...etc. .we understand that turnover is much more important than the customer. Not once in 2 nights were we asked if everything is okay! Not once! Honestly, we won't come back. And, if one day we come back to the area, we will go to another hotel, even more expensive, if necessary. For the restaurant, go see the others, they are perhaps simpler in presentation (and still not all of them) but it is much better, nicer and much less expensive (with the same view or almost).

Family lunch Excellent meal, especially the snacked Squid Tentacles, Virgin sauce and roasted eggplant and Irish coffee.

Small, clean, air-conditioned (silent) room, with balcony, table and armchairs from where you can admire the superb view of Sablettes Bay! Authentic hotel, run by a very dedicated team. Possibility to enjoy the adjoining chic restaurant. Very good stay we will return. It's rare that I write, but after reading certain opinions we can't leave grumpy people alone to express themselves!

An opinion on an opinion: On the part of an isolated commentator, the use of familiarity, certainly complex in the language of Molière, is a vexatious mark of contempt towards the waitress who is also given the nickname "cocotte". Its author de facto discredits himself and we can understand the reaction of a waitress thus mistreated. The rooms are spotless yet in a windy and sandy environment. Certainly small, there is also a balcony which constitutes an additional room, full view of the sea, small port, sailing school... For the catering, obviously the location, the white tablecloths, the attentiveness of the service (clear information on the price of the fish plate), have a cost especially for the wine. (Recommendation for AOC blackcurrant) Continue this work (we knew the Cannier previously)

I just left and I will never set foot there again. Although there is nothing to say about the food, I was very surprised by the waitress who, under the guise of 10+ years of experience in catering, allowed herself to speak badly because: "she doesn't not going to weigh all the fish in the window” Dearest, first of all it's your job, then it's not because I'm young and alone that you should look down on customers. Cocotte, if you are tired of advising customers, I recommend that you change jobs, catering is not for you. And secondly, the least you could do would be to use a scale when choosing the fish, so as not to feel offended by weighing two different fish. This is the first time I've left a review, I feel very upset by the situation.

En bord de mer, l’emplacement est idéal avec une vue magnifique. Le service est parfait et les plats très savoureux. Excellente adresse à la plage des Sablettes.

L'endroit parfait face à la mer pour déguster un bon aïoli, hélas le couperet est tombé : "plus d'aïoli", enfant, je me souviens d'un plat quasi ordinaire et familial, aujourd'hui presque un "luxe" de le déguster mais voilà, le prix n'est plus le même...Bon, nous avons pu nous régaler d'une friture de poissons excellente, ouf ! Je l'ai dit, le service était correct et le personnel aimable. Gardons-nous de critiquer trop facilement, mais qui sait si l'aïoli ne vient pas à nous, c'est nous qui viendrons à lui...
