We went for dinner. It's a truly wonderful place. The setting is magnificent, an old stone building with a large fireplace. The tasting menu was delicious; congratulations to the chef (we saw him placing eggplants on the grill over the dying fire for the next day's meals). There's a wide selection of wines. The staff is attentive. I highly recommend it, but reservations are advised.

Attracted by the €25 three-course set menu, we were very pleasantly surprised by the value for money. Excellent cuisine at a more than reasonable price, perhaps even too reasonable (a gourmet meal for the price of a burger elsewhere). We highly recommend it! (Bonus: our dog was welcome!)

Excellent meal! This is our third visit, and everything was always delicious. The €25 lunch menu is definitely worth it—high-end cuisine at accessible prices. The service was a bit pretentious, but the staff were lovely.

A fantastic discovery! We had lunch at the Cantorbery and had an unforgettable experience. Everything was absolutely delicious from start to finish. You can really feel the commitment to quality in the kitchen. The service was impeccable, professional, and attentive. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

We discovered this restaurant today. Beautiful setting, excellent and refined cuisine. Friendly and attentive staff. Good value for money. In short, what more can we say except that everything was perfect and we highly recommend this establishment if you want to tantalize your taste buds.

One of Dinan's very best restaurants, offering a good quality and variety of dishes at a good price. The service and welcome are relaxed yet attentive, provided by a friendly young team. The setting is authentic and perfectly complements one of Brittany's most beautiful historic towns.

L'Auberge du Pelican

21/04/2026: As part of a meal purchased through a Wonderbox gift voucher, we were welcomed at the Auberge du Pélican. Contrary to what the initial presentation of the voucher suggested (a set menu with starter, main course, and dessert), we were offered a choice of dishes, some with an additional charge (indicated by an asterisk), as well as a list of pre-defined desserts. Drinks were, of course, extra. That being said, the dishes and desserts offered were of good quality, well-prepared, and enjoyable. The service was provided with diligence and professionalism. Note: the restrooms are unisex. During our visit, the arrival of a group temporarily made access slightly more difficult, but this was not a problem. Paying for the meal required a short wait, as the server was the only one handling the specific billing related to the vouchers. In summary: a good overall experience, with quality cuisine and serious service, despite the operation of the box menus which could be clarified beforehand to avoid any confusion.

29/12/2025: There were six of us, and we had a wonderful time. I had a Viennese hot chocolate with a caramel cupcake. Both were delicious.
26/10/2025: Incredible. We've been here three times, several months apart, and each time it's incredible. Whether it's the weekday menu or the weekend brunch, we always eat very, very well. Excellent value for money!
