The walled city of Concarneau. It's an old medieval city built on a rocky outcrop. A rampart and watchtowers. Nothing has changed since the early Middle Ages. A small city consisting of a single central street. Well protected in its time.
A superb visit for lovers of old stones.
A very pleasant stroll through the walled city of Concarneau. The walk along the ramparts is truly enjoyable, with lovely views, and the overall atmosphere is charming. There are also small shops perfect for leisurely browsing. We had lunch at the excellent crêperie Le Penty, which was very pleasant and enjoyed by the whole family. A simple and successful visit.
