Ty Cosy sur Concarneau

Excellent welcome, very good food and perfect service.

This is simply the best galette I've ever eaten. The pastry is incredibly thin, perfectly crispy, and perfectly seasoned. You can buy it without hesitation :)

A very bad experience: a 2-hour wait for... nothing to eat, an undercooked and inedible skate wing, and an incredibly rude waiter... However, the owner did offer a "gesture" of goodwill, acknowledging the situation and providing the uneaten meal and drinks... In short, we left hungry and very disappointed and definitely do not recommend this place.

A good restaurant with a real sense of hospitality and service: they regularly check on your satisfaction. The food is high quality, and the Sauvignon Blanc is excellent, as is the baba au rhum, generously soaked in rum. I recommend it.

We had lunch there yesterday. The meal was absolutely delicious, and don't hesitate to order the tiramisu for dessert—it's divine! The service was incredibly attentive. They even provided a chair for my camera; thank you, madam.

If you're looking for a place to eat in Concarneau, Ty Cosy is a definite recommendation. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with small armchairs that are surprisingly comfortable for sitting and eating. It has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We've never experienced such friendly service in France. Everything was explained to us perfectly, despite my limited French. The food was excellent, simply superb. We started with delicious oysters, followed by the fish platter with sauerkraut. It was a fantastic recommendation! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Like every year, we docked at the port of Concarneau and had our little routines: a short stroll around the walled city, and a quick stop at a restaurant. Following a funny little incident that the manager will easily remember (the awning!), we had lunch at the restaurant next door. As we were leaving, we glanced at Ty Cosy's menu, which looked very tempting, so we had lunch there the next day (and the following week too). A small menu featuring fresh ingredients, a divine salmon carpaccio, excellent mussels in generous portions, and superb desserts. Everything was delicious, served with great care and exceptional kindness by both the staff and the manager. The prices were reasonable considering the quality. I don't usually write reviews (this was my first time), but I felt it was important to do so because this kind of business needs to be preserved. If you only have time for one restaurant, choose this one. Best of luck to Ty Cosy! ;)

Passing through the area, this restaurant is a gem 😋😋 especially their Breton tiramisu...no regrets whatsoever. Thank you to the manager and the waitresses for their smiles and kindness.
