Le Capu sur Nancy

Our first time there and we absolutely loved it! From the lovely setting and attentive service to, of course, the chef's delicious and surprising cuisine... everything is there for a wonderful experience! The entire team is truly pleasant and professional, a real plus in a world where smiles seem to be disappearing little by little.

Great restaurant, the vegetarian starter and main course were delicious. It's nice to find a fine dining restaurant that also offers plant-based alternatives.

Overall, a nice experience, but a huge disappointment with the desserts. The “pistachio soufflé” was actually just a baked egg white, completely tasteless, with only a tiny spoonful of pistachio ice cream in the middle (truly minuscule and barely flavorful). It's clearly a rip-off; don't order it if you value your money: €16 for an egg white is outrageous. We pointed this out to the waiter, who acknowledged the problem but offered no compensation, even though the dessert itself remained untouched. Very disappointed. Overall, the experience was nice, but the desserts were a huge disappointment. We had a very special night here. It had everything I would expect from a fine dining experience. A nice welcome from the chef, a super friendly and forthcoming staff over the complete evening and of course crazily good food with great choices in the menu. Our three course menus were acompanied by 2 very well selected wines, a very nice amuse bouche and finalized by a delicious closing. The atmosphere in the restaurant is modern, cozy and chique at the same time. Overall a 100% recommendation for everyone visiting Nancy.

Rightly recommended by the Michelin Guide "Bib Gourmand" and awarded a toque by Gault Millau, this is a classic, upscale French restaurant. Chef Hervé Fourrière personally greets all guests throughout the evening. His dishes impress with their perfection and refined flavors. A glimpse into his kitchen is truly remarkable. The service is exceptionally friendly and professional. The ambiance is tasteful and sophisticated. A visit here is worth every penny and will be remembered. This is simply fine French cuisine as one imagines and dreams of it. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience. Original and delicious cuisine, both subtle and generous. The chef and waitstaff truly pampered us. It's very high-end without being pretentious. Everything is absolutely delicious. Special mention goes to the exquisitely refined, sophisticated, and incredibly indulgent desserts. Highly recommended.

Dinner was very good and we had a very pleasant evening at Capu. The staff are very professional.

We came on March 13th with my mother-in-law, who was celebrating her 80th birthday, and my wife, who was turning 52. Everything, absolutely everything, was perfect ***** Each dish was an explosion of flavor. The service was top-notch. The sommelier gave us excellent recommendations, suggesting a glass of wine for each course. They prepared a tray of petits fours with candles to celebrate Grandma's birthday. The chef even came to chat with his customers. This restaurant is a Nancy institution. We've tried all the gourmet restaurants in Nancy (much more expensive), but we always come back to Le Capu, which remains our favorite. Thank you to Chef Hervé and his team for everything. The chef's work is exemplary, delighting the palate from noon to midnight. The kitchen is bright and airy, the atmosphere harmonious. Thank you three times over!

Superb experience. Exquisitely refined meal. The tasting menu with wine pairings for each course was a wonderful surprise. The wines chosen were simply magnificent. A great discovery.
