Friendly welcome and simple but very good cuisine. Came for lunch with a client, we had a starter (octopus) and main course (chicken escalope for me and blanquette for the other person). The price is contained and therefore the value for money is completely correct.

There were three of us who ate very well. Particularly pleasant and responsive server. Traditional family cooking with a little touch of originality.

A welcome at the top. The dishes and desserts are very tasty. Despite a large table of sixteen guests 😅, the service remained dynamic, warm and above all efficient. Thanks again. I promise, we’ll come back 🙏

What more can I say than PERFECT! Very warm welcome, excellent cuisine and the price is more than fair for extra quality. Coming during a weekend we will not fail to return there on occasion 👍

29/08/2024: The creations of Mr Bernardé and his team are always as tasty and made with the know-how of a M.O.F. We await with greedy impatience what the Saturday cake will be. In the meantime, you can always enjoy macaroons, chocolates, caramels and other tasty treats, without forgetting the N.B cakes that you must have tasted at least once in your life. A small note, however, regarding the packaging that we now make the customer pay for. We are in the shop of a Meilleur Ouvrier de France all the same, with the prices accordingly. Imagine Hermés making you pay for the box of its square.
28/08/2024: I have been going to Nicolas Benardé regularly since his store opened. I am never disappointed whether it is with cakes including travel cakes, Saturday pastries or desserts for special occasions. Everything is good, right down to the garlic & chili hazelnuts and the cheese shortbread: my favorites for an aperitif! In addition, Madame Bernardé always welcomes you in a warm and smiling manner. In short, an essential address in La Garenne!

29/07/2024: Good food but very small quantity, it's a shame. And I'm a little eater. I pointed it out at the end of the meal, I was kindly offered a second plate but I didn't have time. The “sea bass with vegetables” dish was well cooked but too small quantities. Open only at lunchtime.
10/07/2024: A quiet street, pleasant terrace, quality cuisine, delighted with this lunch!
