We had a wonderful time as a couple at Cardinal des Mers! We opted for the tasting menu and everything was perfect from start to finish. The cuisine is refined, beautifully executed, and showcases the freshest ingredients. Special mention goes to the service, which was simply impeccable: attentive, seamless, and professional without ever being intrusive. A truly excellent restaurant in Royan for a perfect evening for two. We will definitely be back!

A rare flavor in the dishes. The marinated salmon with a poached egg was excellent. Followed by a perfectly cooked sea bass. Truly a restaurant not to be missed in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne. Quality service and an exceptional sea view (I recommend making a reservation for the terrace).

My fiancé and I had a wonderful evening. The food and service were both perfect, especially the snails, which my husband adores. We went twice and fully intend to return and empty our wallets (my husband's, anyway). 100000000% recommended!

A few years ago, we came as a family, but illness prevented us from doing so. The restaurant is splendid; I'd love to return 👍. To think that people make comments about the lamps on the tables 👎😔. Nonsense. We were shopkeepers in the Paris region, now retired. Best regards.

We discovered this place during our stay via the little tourist train.
The welcome was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious. The children didn't have to wait; they were served very quickly.
The setting is magnificent, right by the sea. A little tip: remember to book your table because the restaurant fills up very, very quickly!

A very pleasant place with a breathtaking view. It's a shame there's no outdoor seating, however, they did let us go out onto the terrace to watch the magnificent sunset. The food was good and generous, perhaps a little rushed with the service.
Otherwise, a very lovely evening.

Excellent welcome and pleasant service. Beautiful setting and very clean establishment. The food was unsurprising: the seasonings and presentation of the dishes were quite simple. A little pricey for my taste compared to what I expected, but good and generous portions.
