A great restaurant and definitely worth trying. I liked these dishes, but I suggest asking for the chicken to be cooked more thoroughly. However, the cheese fondue is alcohol-free, so try it! 👍 The service was excellent and fast, contrary to what I read in some reviews.

The veal escalope was disappointing: a huge (really huge) escalope with no sauce on the plate, and a few vegetables... For 32 euros, we expected a bit more flavor and side dishes... A little disappointed. The other dishes were perhaps better.

Great restaurant! The salmon was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We came here every day during our stay. Highly recommend!

Gluten Free meals are available. Josephine’s has a few items on their menu that are gluten free. The Tartiflette is gluten free and the best tasting in all of Chamonix. Also the Cauliflower Curry with rice is GF and tastes excellent. If you explain your allergies to the wait staff or manager, they can provide you with a list of special diets and can confirm that what you’re ordering does not contain wheat or gluten. Eating outdoors or in the heated terrace surrounded by brightly colored flower boxes makes for a wonderful experience. I always return to Josephine’s for the delicious food and wonderful ambiance, it’s just a fantastic place to have a meal in Chamonix.

An amazing restaurant in the heart of Chamonix with a beautiful atmosphere and relaxing outdoor seating. We ordered the pasta, fries, coffee, and dessert—everything was incredibly delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, and the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. 22/06/2026: Pros - Friendly, efficient English-speaking staff - Views from the rooms and spa were incredible - Excellent range of options at the breakfast buffet and opened at 06.30 so eat then get out for the day early - Able to use facilities of hotel on day of checkout. We were kindly allowed to use the spa and hotel showers on the afternoon after we had checked out at no additional cost. This meant we were able to run all day and freshen up before heading to the airport. A really nice touch as meant you could maximise time in Chamonix rather than wait for flight home. - Toiletries in the room were good quality (not overstocked so environmental friendly) and able to ask for items free if charge from reception - Great location close to town centre and short walk to bus stops/train station Cons - Mattress was very firm so found it quite uncomfortable (personal preference though) - No aircon: stayed in June and the room was uncomfortably hot to sleep and the road outside was a bit too noisy to leave the windows open overnight to cool things down. It was exceptionally hot weather however so likely a very occasional issue. - Limited hooks in the bedroom for coats etc - Drinks in the hotel bar were expensive - EUR12 for a 1664 Krongenbourg beer. Despite a few small cons, this hotel was absolutely fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
