Amazing pizza! Not cheap, but the mozzarella is creamy, the crust is thin, and the recipes are delicious. A little addictive. Great beer selection. The restaurant is clean and spacious, and the pizzas are the perfect size.

The half-pizza for €1 on Tuesday lunchtimes in June is a nice deal. The pizzas are great!

A truly exceptional place! We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent pizzas. The pizza of the day that was suggested to us was a real treat. The service was also perfect, attentive and just the right amount of service. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed that evening. Well done to the team!

Not bad at all! The pizza has a decent crust (Italian style) and is therefore quite authentic. Prices are... typical of local pizzas (12 euros for a Margherita, haha, that's expensive). But hey, that's the norm in France 😉

Plenty of gluten-free pizza and beer options, and a separate kitchen to prevent cross-contamination. The waiter even accepted a gluten-free Monaco (a type of pizza) for us! I highly recommend it to all celiacs in Lyon. However, there are no gluten-free options for desserts, and the service can sometimes be slow. Vegetarian and even vegan options are available.

Casa Nobile

12/08/2026: A real treat as usual, and the new setting is magnificent. Top-notch staff. A must-do, and I'll definitely be back! 😋
11/08/2026: This is my first time back since they moved. I've always loved Casa Nobile and the atmosphere of both their locations on Rue Bellecordière and in Gerland, and I've always left completely satisfied. The food is still excellent, and it's a real pleasure to rediscover those flavors. However, we were a little more ambivalent about the service. While the order was taken fairly efficiently, our main courses arrived before the drinks. When we asked for our drinks, we were told, "Sorry, it's a bit busy tonight, that's why they haven't arrived yet." To avoid hot dishes arriving before drinks, it might be better to serve them later. After our main courses, we felt rushed throughout. We had barely seen the dessert menu before we had to choose, with the waitress standing around waiting outside our table. No one bothered to clear our desserts, or even offer us coffee and after-dinner drinks. We had to ask for them. About ten minutes after they were placed on the table, the bill was brought to us, even though we were far from finished with our drinks. The waitress already had the card reader in hand and was asking us how we wanted to pay, without us even having a chance to look at the bill or finish our drinks. She finally gave us a minute, at our request, before returning immediately. Once we'd paid, an army of servers rushed out to pack up the terrace. In two minutes, it was packed, and then finally, we were told we had to leave. At no point was a courtesy round of the service offered. No questions were asked when the dishes were cleared. The Pornstar Martini, which I strongly advise against—it tastes more like some kind of syrup than vodka and passion fruit—remained untouched, and no one questioned it. However, once the terrace was folded up to wait more than five to a meter from our table until we left at 10:50 p.m., we didn't have to ask them to clear away the empty aperitif glasses that had been sitting on the table for quite some time without any apparent concern, and certainly not to clear away one of the digestif glasses that had just been emptied and placed back on the table. I completely understand the servers' desire to go home, but the customer experience shouldn't suffer. I think that when accepting tables for the second seating, it might be a good idea to inform guests that the establishment closes at 11:00 p.m. sharp. Next, a courtesy call could be made 15 minutes beforehand, as is the case in most establishments with strict closing times, to let customers know that the establishment is about to close. This would give the impression of being less of a nuisance and less of a rush. Finally, when we show customers the door and they ask for the restroom, it might be appropriate to feign patience a little longer and take the time to answer them. We work in a profession where, unfortunately, without customers to spend money, there is no pay. Two stars for service only for the waitress who took our order, who was very friendly (unlike the one who took over). It's a shame they no longer have focaccia bread. It's also a shame they no longer have a daily special. As for the value for money of the food, it remains unbeatable in my opinion, and the cuisine remains, for me, the best Italian cuisine in Lyon.
