Le Carrefour Bar sur Aix-En-Provence

The prices for alcoholic drinks are incredibly high. It might be due to the location; almost nine euros for a large beer is outrageous. We didn't eat anything here. The two gentlemen we met as servers were quite nice, but nothing more. The atmosphere is mediocre. The best thing about it is the location in the old town, which is why we stopped here after sightseeing. We won't be doing that again; there are cheaper restaurants and bars. Of course, we could have asked about the price, but we forgot, thirsty as we were! :-( We didn't eat anything, nor did any of the other customers. Perhaps 7 p.m. was too early?

A wonderful discovery. The food is excellent and the staff are lovely. Don't hesitate!

Passing through Aix-en-Provence for the weekend, we stopped there for lunch. Nothing but positives: delicious, generous portions at a very reasonable price, a great atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommended.

I liked the coffee. I had a café au lait.
