Excellent restaurant, the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. We had a lovely evening. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful restaurant we’ve used over many years both when we lived in France and on visits…it just awesome, food was wonderful and staff just superb!

The welcome was friendly, the decor was lovely. The meal was good, but the cheese platter was extremely light for €9; we found the bill a bit steep.

I dined at Le Casier three times during my five-day holiday, and the only word that comes to mind is... EXCELLENT! A friendly atmosphere in a pleasant setting with excellent service and exceptional cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant. And above all, it offers fantastic value for money.

Having tried a few restaurants in Saint-Gilles, I recommend Le Casier; the sardines are excellent.

After making a reservation, we went to this restaurant in St. Gilles. Excellent restaurant! The starter was a delicious and original smelt fricassee, followed by a main course of octopus (cooked perfectly, just tender enough) and generous desserts. They had quality Vendée wines (I know they're not very well-known, but they're worth discovering). An excellent place; reservations are recommended. I'll definitely go back as soon as I return to St. Gilles Croix de Vie.

I was charmed by this restaurant, both by the excellent value for money and the exceptional friendliness of the staff. During my 5-day holiday in Saint Gilles, I went there 3 times and each time the food was delicious! It's a place I highly recommend.

We dined at Le Casier restaurant one evening in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and had a wonderful time. We chose the set menu, which included oysters and sardine rillettes as starters, both delicious. We then enjoyed the seafood sauerkraut, one of the house specialties, which we highly recommend. The house-smoked fish adds a wonderful flavor and demonstrates true expertise. To finish, the homemade desserts were just as good as the rest of the meal: an excellent crème brûlée and a generous and indulgent chocolate mousse. We also want to highlight the quality of the service. The waitress was very pleasant, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A truly excellent restaurant where you can enjoy quality products in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will gladly return on our next visit to Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
