26/09/2026: A very friendly and relaxed little tapas bar. At lunchtime, you can enjoy delicious local oysters; the oyster farmer is right next door at the market. They also have grilled sardines, but not when we were there. And of course, tapas to share. In the evenings, there's a variety of entertainment and live music. In short, a lively and welcoming place. Worth trying at least once.

18/09/2026: We were so looking forward to discovering this place! What a disappointment! The appetizer platter included undersized and overcooked smelts, tiny and equally overcooked sardines, a rather bland seafood sauerkraut, and potatoes that tasted like reheated food... The "gourmet coffee" was anything but gourmet, the chocolate mousse and crème brûlée were far too sweet, and the apple wedges were cooked with a generic caramel topping! Avoid this place if you want a decent lunch and good fish. The decor and service were pleasant.

13/09/2026: What a pleasant surprise! We booked online and were offered a lovely idea: an aperitif with an amuse-bouche on the terrace, followed by a €33 set menu that exceeded all our expectations. The quality of the ingredients and the cooking were perfect (the pork pluma was exquisite), and to finish, we enjoyed a gourmet coffee with delicious treats. The service was impeccable, and the bill was more than reasonable. 👍

The service is attentive and friendly, responsive without being intrusive. For starters, a beautifully delicate foie gras, perfectly seasoned. For the main course, a high-quality veal chop, cooked to perfection and, most importantly, served piping hot on a warm plate—a detail that makes all the difference. The revisited strawberry tartlet for dessert offers a successful balance between freshness and indulgence. The pairing with a 2024 Mâcon Uchizy perfectly complemented the entire meal. The cuisine is exceptionally well executed, using top-quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. Special mention goes to the temperature control, too often neglected elsewhere. A restaurant I highly recommend for lovers of refined and authentic cuisine.”

20/09/2026: Very disappointed. The salad was a small, canteen-style salad with no originality. The daily special was another canteen-style meal. The fries were frozen. Two small slices of braised ham were sold as roast pork. No effort was made to present the meal. Avoid.

28/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. Thank you for the warm welcome and kindness, especially considering my husband's disability. The seafood sauerkraut and Vendée salad were very good. Just a little too much crouton and salad. There was no salmon in the sauerkraut; I assume it was replaced with haddock or another fish.
