Lovely hotel which I highly recommend. My (adult) son and I stayed here in adjoining rooms recently for six nights. Nice hotel in quite a central position in Chatel (it's a short walk up hill to the centre of the village). It was very comfortable and we had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend taking the breakfast option which was good value, plentiful and good quality. Very nice boiled eggs and plump French Kiwi fruit along with the usual cold meats, cheeses and pastries.

Excellent stay, highly recommended! We stayed at Hotel Castellan in Châtel for a weekend with my company colleagues (around 10 of us), and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The rooms were clean, cosy, and very comfortable, and the location is perfect, beautiful views, easy access to the village, and great connections to the ski pistes. Everything was very convenient after long days on the slopes. Our stay included breakfast and dinner, and both were really good: delicious, generous, and exactly what you need after a full ski day. What really made the difference was the staff, always friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. They made us feel very welcome throughout the whole stay. I would highly recommend Hotel Castellan, and we’re already looking forward to coming back, either with my family or with friends. We truly fell in love with Châtel and this hotel. Great family run hotel. Lovely food and only a short walk to the bus station or cable car.

We just spent a wonderful week at the family-run Hotel Le Castellan with a beautiful mountain view 😊 There were two families of us, and we were able to take advantage of the two adjoining rooms, perfect for families with children 🤗 We truly felt at home. We happily opted for the half-board option (breakfast and dinner). Everything is homemade, a real treat and so comfortable after long days of skiing. The hotel is close to the village center, shops, and the slopes. We will definitely be back; thank you so much to the whole team 🥰
