Update: Years later, we went back and decided to get something to eat. It took about five minutes to get a table. There were plenty of seats available.
The waitress obviously had other things on her agenda, and there weren't even 15 guests. Once we were seated, it took another ten minutes, during which the waitress (an Englishwoman) worked through everything else on her list in sequence, adding a course without service each time.
She could have taken the other tables' orders or cleared the dishes before returning to the kitchen. But she didn't. This led to an ever-increasing delay in her processes and only made her more stressed. A vicious circle that revealed very little experience in the restaurant industry.
Well, eventually we ordered and got our food. It was a bit more expensive than elsewhere at lunchtime, but it was really delicious. Luckily, you can pay at the counter in France, so we were spared a bit of a wait.

Unfortunately if you just want a drink you get the cat table inside next to the toilet. That's really unfortunate and needs to change.
Nice place. Nice people who are responsible for the service. You feel welcome. Popular with bikers like myself. The food is basic but I gladly accept that.
Adorable waitress with a lovely English accent, smiling (which isn't the case everywhere). Simple menu but dishes that look homemade. Nothing negative to report :)
Popped in for coffee, which was lovely and reasonably priced, however waited quite a while to be served despite being sat at the bar, with other people being served first, who came in after me. Waitress lovely, chatty despite being busy.
Waited a long time to pay for bill too, and coffee was added to the couples
bill next to me!
Classic and simple French food from this small family restaurant. In warm weather, seating on the covered terrace by the stream. Friendly service and clean toilets.
