12/12/2025: We came for lunch today with my dad and had a lovely time at L’Assiette du Coq à l’Âne. The welcome, the decor, the service, the atmosphere, and the food: everything was done to ensure our satisfaction. We thank the entire team.

08/12/2025: A real gem! While passing through Gérardmer, we were incredibly lucky to have lunch there as a family of four (without a reservation); everything was absolutely perfect. The setting is superb, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the welcome was amazing: smiles, attentiveness, kindness—you immediately feel at ease. And what can we say about the food? Pure bliss! Every dish was flavorful and perfectly executed; we enjoyed every bite from start to finish. From appetizer to dessert, the quality is truly exceptional: the snails are outstanding (and that's coming from someone from Burgundy!), the Savoyard fondue is good, the burger was delicious, and the desserts were exquisite (floating islands, chocolate shells, gourmet coffee); we also appreciated the wines that were recommended to us. Honestly, not a single flaw: go without hesitation, we recommend it 200%!
