Very good restaurant and beautiful setting

My wife and I had a wonderful evening. The salads were generous and delicious, with high-quality ingredients. For dessert, I recommend the strawberries. They were excellent. Not to mention the vanilla ice cream that perfectly complemented the strawberries, Melba-style. In short, everything was excellent. I will gladly return. Special mention to the owner for her great advice on the white beer with red berries! We didn't have time to say hello to our waitress, who was incredibly kind. We will gladly return.

A bad experience. The servers were courteous and friendly, but the service was incredibly slow. The wine had plenty of time to get lukewarm before arriving at our table, and the ice bucket didn't arrive until 20 minutes later. The charcuterie boards are best avoided: €19 for just two small slices of bread to accompany the salmon, terrine, and foie gras. So we asked for more bread: a ten-minute wait… only to receive bread that was almost stale. After nearly an hour and a half, the server reassured us: the dishes would arrive. As the wait dragged on, we even started to worry about the chef, wondering if he had fainted, or even if he had died! Rest assured, he is fine, and that's actually one of the positive points: the three dishes we ordered were of a good standard. To sum up: a 50-minute wait for the starter, then another 50 minutes for the main courses, stale bread, and mulled wine… The experience gradually became as tedious as an endless wait at the prefecture. I even think obtaining a building permit is faster than the food arriving at this restaurant! In England, all this might pass for a normal dining experience… but in our land of gastronomy, we're still entitled to expect a little better! As for the owner, she obviously has the right to reply. Managing such an establishment is clearly difficult. Perhaps, however, it would be more constructive to take feedback into account, even when it's critical, in order to identify what could be improved in the restaurant's organization and service.

Lovely setting on the terrace. Friendly welcome and service. The food was fresh, good quality, and tasty, but the experience was spoiled by: - a long wait for aperitifs, almost 15 minutes - a half-hour wait for our order to be taken - the starters arrived without the ordered wine - bread had to be requested and was extremely dry - the wine arrived after a reminder and was served mulled (Alsatian Pinot Noir, which should ideally be served chilled) - the main courses arrived more than 30 minutes after the starters. So I had plenty of time to write this review. Definitely don't come if you're short on time or have young children… your patience will be sorely tested…

A great place to stop, friendly staff, and spotlessly clean premises, including the restrooms. The terrace is lovely with charming little decorations and a large chalkboard for children to draw on. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, as did the children. The tomato tartare was excellent, as was the €10 tapas platter – impeccable! 👍 👍 We'll definitely return to this restaurant on our next trip to Gérardmer.

Beautifully decorated terrace, original and tasty dishes, friendly and welcoming staff, but a little rushed during payment (a minor detail).

Appetizers ✅️ Appetizer Platter ✅️ Meal: Cordon Bleu ✅️ A former employee recommended this restaurant for its famous cordon bleu. Delicious! It's not often you get this kind of meal, and I have absolutely no regrets. No wait at all, even in August, market day! I recommend it 200%! For 2 appetizers, an appetizer platter, a meal, and sparkling water with your meal, expect to pay around forty euros.

It's always a great pleasure to visit La Perle restaurant. The staff is impeccable and friendly. The dishes are always of exceptional quality and delicious. I look forward to returning soon.

First time at this restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed the mussels! The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. We'll definitely be back! ☺️
