Everything was excellent! The hotel has a beautiful location; the rooms are very clean and well-equipped.
In the evening, we enjoyed a set menu that was very well prepared and tasted delicious. The prices for both the food and the room were fair!
The food is good, but outside of mealtimes, when you come for a drink or an ice cream in the afternoon, the welcome is always quite cold and there's no eagerness to serve you. Furthermore, since the cutlery is already laid out for the evening, the waitress doesn't bother to clear it, so you have to squeeze into a corner to get your drink—a first for me in an establishment. Secondly, they don't offer a menu, which makes choosing a drink difficult. In short, we always felt like we were bothering them. So now I'll be going elsewhere.
31/01/2026: Stopped here overnight on our way from Switzerland in November, an amazing spot with some outstanding food, the service was impeccable and we enjoyed the chance to try different wines from the area.

21/12/2025: This is an exceptional place. The restaurant and service is outstanding and yet manages to be unpretentious. As someone who is gluten intolerant it is one of the few establishments I have come across in France who take pride in not just accommodating the dietary preference but ensuring they had prepared special amuse bouche without gluten. It is a reflection of the care and attention to detail they take. Worth making a detour to visit (even if you are not gluten intolerant!).
