We were looking for a place to eat well, a little away from the crowds, and we found it. What's more, the staff is welcoming and serves delicious, gourmet galettes.

We loved our time at Le Chapeau Rouge. The welcome and service were truly impeccable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The galettes were incredibly delicious, made with quality ingredients and offered at very reasonable prices. Special mention goes to the draft cider, which was excellent! A must-visit that we highly recommend.

The savory buckwheat crepe was delicious! The service was impeccable; the staff, despite a busy schedule, always had a smile on their faces! The savory crepe was €10.50, a very reasonable price for Mont Saint-Michel! Thank you for this pleasant experience!

A family-friendly place with good food and good service. LOVED it. Would recommend it to anyone going to Mont Saint-Michel. I loved this place; it's a small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The menu is inexpensive and the quality is very good. A MUST-TRY.

15/04/2026: Unbeatable location and attentive, very friendly staff. Good breakfast served at a nearby restaurant (everything is close in St. Michel). The best thing, without a doubt, was the staff. We would definitely return tomorrow. If I had to mention a negative point, the shower water pressure was low.

19/07/2026: We were welcomed as a storm was raging over Mont Saint-Michel. The entire team was fantastic, finding us a table and arranging for other guests, even though we hadn't made a reservation. This was topped off with a delicious dinner and a comforting cocktail. The chef came around to all the tables after service to make sure everyone was happy. Thank you to the whole team for this chaotic yet very warm experience! A delightful holiday memory for our little family. Highly recommended!!
19/07/2026: We really enjoyed the food; the caramel crepe with butterscotch sauce was delicious. No complaints at all, to be honest. The price was good considering it was in such a popular spot as Mont Saint-Michel. The atmosphere changed when more people started coming into the restaurant, and the waiters were making inappropriate comments, getting stressed, or arguing amongst themselves. I think it's important to maintain composure in front of customers to project a good image.
