Le Chardon sur Chardonnay

In a charming village, where time seems to stand still. Run by a young, dynamic, and friendly couple, this bar and restaurant is the heart of the village, a gathering place and hub of community life. We went for lunch at Le Chardon after a wine tasting in the area. Simple but delicious cuisine made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. ☀️

We ate at this restaurant, which has a family atmosphere. The owner is very pleasant and always smiling. The pork cheek was delicious, the meat was very tender. The salted caramel cake was fantastic. Thank you again for the warm welcome and excellent service!

My husband and I were lucky enough to eat at this bar-restaurant; it wasn't planned, and as is often the case, the unexpected turned out to be fantastic for us. The atmosphere was wonderful, taking us right back to our childhood and adolescence—a real old-fashioned bistro that was a real pleasure. No frills, just a genuinely warm and honest welcome. And then the meal... kudos to the cook! It was a delight, a treat, a heaven of good food. Honestly, bravo, we loved it. But the most adorable thing was little William—what a lovely family, in a lovely place with a lovely menu. We highly recommend it.
