Le Chardon sur Montgiscard

A lovely restaurant located on a very quiet square. The setting is extremely pleasant, especially in the early evening. The portions are generous and the quality is excellent (we especially loved the double cheeseburger!). Special mention to the service: friendly, smiling, and (very) attentive to the animals (Alex, we wish you all the best for the future ;)).

It was very, very good. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were simply the best I've ever had.

Honestly, nothing to complain about, excellent value for money.

A friendly restaurant with tables set up in an outdoor square, complete with a large parasol. The food is plentiful and excellent: the tomato and burrata salad is incredible, and the burger is very tasty, with homemade fries. Affordable prices. The service is top-notch, with smiles and attentive service. Quick service. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return more often 🙂

I've been eating here for a while now, and I realize I've never actually taken the time to leave a review. Honestly, this place truly deserves it. The food is always excellent, the portions are generous, and you can tell everything is made with passion. A huge thank you to Franck, the owner, and his entire team, who are truly fantastic. The welcome is always warm, you're greeted with a smile, and you feel right at home. That's what makes you want to come back again and again. In a time when small, independent restaurants need support, I think it's important to highlight those who are doing things right. The food and service were impeccable. It's a shame this establishment is more of a "bistro"; there are a lot of drunk people in the evenings.
