We just discovered this little restaurant in Agay with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. The bourride was excellent, and the service was particularly welcoming.

Truly beautiful and intimate, clean atmosphere, few tables, wonderful view. The food is certainly high-quality, fresh fish, good selection... the problem is the sauces. I ordered a mixed grill, and it arrived covered in a sweetish sauce that completely covered the flavor of the fish. The mussels with parsley and butter were inedible, to my taste, but again, not because of the freshness of the product, but rather the recipe... I've seen the same dish at other places. Service... the usual language barrier: either you speak French or you don't. I can understand not speaking Italian, but not speaking English, absolutely not. Overall, it's a nice place, but I wouldn't go back.

Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, and delicious food. The view of the bay is also stunning when the lights come on in the evening. It's truly beautiful here; I highly recommend it!

Absolutely incredible! The food was delicious, admittedly a bit pricey, but the quality is definitely there. The waitress was also very pleasant; we'll be back.

Very friendly welcome. Excellent service and very nice and friendly staff. We were even allowed to taste the wine before deciding on a bottle (thank you very much for that). Regarding the food: Starter: 4.5 points Main course: 3 to 3.5 points. We had a mixed fish platter for €33 and pasta with langoustine for €45. The pasta was overcooked, and the very spicy oriental sauce completely overpowered the fish flavor of the mixed platter. Furthermore, the tuna and monkfish were quite overcooked, so we were rather disappointed considering the price of the main courses. Dessert was good again, 4.5 out of 5. Overall score: 3.9 considering the relatively high prices. Since we chose this restaurant through Google, my review is intended to help other guests make a better decision and not rely solely on the Google star ratings. But tastes vary, of course...

An exceptional experience in a splendid setting! A magnificent restaurant, impeccable service with excellent recommendations, and superb cuisine made with high-quality ingredients. The best evening of our vacation! The photos speak for themselves. We regret not having the time to return during the day to appreciate the view even more. Prices are more than reasonable considering the exceptional quality of the food served. Thank you again!

A fantastic evening at Le Pitalugue! There were three of us, and we were absolutely thrilled with the entire culinary experience. Even the opening course, with refreshing gin and tonics and an excellent fritto misto as a starter, was superb – wonderfully crispy and exceptionally fresh. The kitchen also demonstrated its full range of skills with the main courses: The duck breast, the sea bream, and the exquisite fish platter were cooked to perfection, incredibly rich, and of the highest quality. A chilled bottle of Chardonnay was the perfect accompaniment. The meal was rounded off with a delicious chocolate mousse and a refreshing Colonel. The service deserves special praise: exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional. A little business anecdote on the side, regarding the subtle "culture": While we enjoyed the full experience from aperitif to dessert, we observed guests at the next table ordering only two bottles of still water with their main courses and engrossed in their smartphones. As an astonished observer, one naturally wonders how the restaurant manages to make a profit with such restrained "cultural" beverage consumption – after all, a good establishment is known to thrive on its bar business. All the more reason for us to enjoy being truly pampered here. An absolute recommendation for every lover of Mediterranean seafood and gourmet cuisine! We will gladly return, as we have every year since 2011.
