We occasionally order delivery from Le Chasseur, and the portions are generous and delicious.
Tonight, the delivery driver forgot part of our order, so the restaurant's waitress came to our home herself to bring it, along with a little extra. Thank you so much for this kind and generous gesture! 😊

At the Hotel Restaurant Le Chasseur in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, the quiet rooms are perfectly adequate, and the bathrooms are very clean.
The welcome is very friendly.
However, we would like to point out a few minor details:
- The service seemed quick, perhaps even a little too quick. Indeed, shortly after our aperitifs were served, we were asked to order our hot dishes before we had even had a chance to look at the menu.
- With our Chasseur burgers, we were offered the last portion of fries, which unfortunately were not to our liking as they were overcooked.
- Furthermore, regarding the Simmental ribeye steak bites, while we appreciated the presentation in a casserole dish, some of them seemed rather tough due to the presence of sinew.
Furthermore, with the warm Munster cheese served with spaetzle, would it be possible to add some charcuterie?
As for dessert, the rum baba, Liège coffee, and Piwish coffee were very good.
Finally, could a few small pastries be added to the breakfast?

Hello
I've gotten into the habit of ordering tarte flambée to go to this restaurant, and they're very good, by the way.
Unfortunately, we came to eat in tonight, and I wasn't entirely satisfied. The quality of the food was fine, but there was a slight issue with the service.
In short:
- The service was far too rushed for a Friday night.
- There was no sauce for the dishes, even though a sauce was advertised (like the cordon bleu).
- Ask how you want your meat cooked; everyone's preference is different.
I'll continue ordering takeout, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be dining in again.
