08/08/2026: As a holder of the Gourmet Passport and having had the opportunity to try several restaurants, this one clearly stands out! A wonderful discovery, with impeccable service and a particularly pleasant and professional waiter. We had a fantastic time and received a very warm welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of service and the overall experience. A place to discover without hesitation!

08/08/2026: I discovered this restaurant at lunchtime for a family meal. It was a wonderful experience. The menu is concise, with simplified lunch options (fish, poultry, or meat) made with fresh ingredients. The desserts were also very good. The terrace, covered by a pergola covered in greenery, is very pleasant in the summer. I will be back soon to try the evening menus or on a weekend. Highly recommended.

01/08/2026: Very disappointed today. The kidneys were swimming in mustard seed sauce, and the spaetzle side dish was very meager. When I added the spaetzle to the plate, they were swimming in sauce; you could barely see them. I politely asked if I could have a few more, but they were €2.50 each! So I didn't order anything else and will go somewhere else tomorrow. I should also mention that the two beers I ordered were served with a thin line and topped off with a nice head of foam. It has nothing to do with authentic Alsatian cuisine. But the staff were friendly!

02/07/2026: A reliable family restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The dishes are excellent, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. The service is good. The air conditioning is just right. The tables aren't too close together.

18/07/2026: I came with my family, and at first it was alright. My father-in-law had a bad impression when we called to make the reservation; the person was cold and unenthusiastic, but we went anyway. During the aperitif, halfway through his glass, my father-in-law noticed ants in it. Yes, ants, you read that right! My mother went to the bar to point it out, and the only thing the waitress could say wasn't, "Sorry, I'll change it for you," no, no, no, it was, "Oh! There's protein in there." The excuse was: with the heat, the bottle seals pop off (not the original caps, but the plastic bits used to measure the Picon), and so the ants get underneath, but I filter it with a cloth when I pour. Do you use the same cloth for every drink? Because in that case, there are some hygiene issues that need to be addressed. At the end of the meal, she even told us it had been a long time since she'd served a martini. Excuse me? What are we supposed to make of that? That ants have been decomposing in the martini for months? If you still decide to go, I advise you to check your glass carefully; it's a shame, because this restaurant has real potential...

27/06/2026: Good food... But avoid this restaurant during hot weather. The air conditioning is inadequate and often broken or disconnected, making for an unpleasant meal.

30/08/2026: A magnificent Alsatian discovery! I highly recommend the Auberge du Cerf. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and authentic, perfect for a truly enjoyable stay. As for the food, the Alsatian specialties are absolutely delicious, generous, and perfectly executed. Everything is flavorful, from the main course to the dessert. The service is also impeccable. A must-visit if you're looking for quality and a friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

25/08/2026: Family meal, very professional and friendly service. We had tarte flambée and it was very good. The restaurant was full, we were seated in the glass-enclosed area which was noisy.

30/08/2026: We ate there on August 29th. A wonderful discovery! The cordon bleu, tuna, and duck breast were all delicious, including the desserts. I really appreciated the emphasis on seasonal fruits and how they were prepared in different ways, both savory and sweet. A delight! We enjoyed the shaded terrace. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, and there was no wait. Thank you.

12/08/2026: It's regularly in this restaurant in the center of Illkirch that we meet up with our former colleagues. We find it a pleasant place to chat and catch up while enjoying delicious food. There are three distinct areas: a dining room with a space near the waterfront, as well as a lovely shaded terrace. We'll definitely make the most of this place.

16/07/2026: Dinner on the covered terrace was very pleasant. In the evening. The service was very good. The dishes were perfectly acceptable, although not very generous: after his pasta dish, my son wasn't full. I was disappointed by the limited menu. Only 5 starters, 5 main courses, and 5 desserts seems insufficient to me. I don't think I'll be back; there are plenty of restaurants in Illkirch.

24/08/2026: We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the portions were generous and featured local ingredients! Everything is homemade and served with generosity and a smile. Yum, it's delicious! (My 12-year-old daughter)

24/08/2026: Excellent place. Generous and delicious dishes. The Fleischkiechle were superb. The desserts were also very generous. The service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

20/08/2026: We enjoyed the lovely shaded terrace in a pleasant, green setting. The menu offers a good selection, especially the cocktails. We tried the grilled chicken and the ravioli with pistachio pesto, followed by the French toast with Nutella and the raspberry tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delicious. A great place to enjoy a meal on the terrace in Illkirch.
