29/03/2026: Reservation at 8 pm at Tankstell, hoping to discover a good Winstub. A promising start: a pleasant welcome, friendly aperitif service. But what followed was incomprehensible. The dish was served cold—not lukewarm, cold. I pointed this out, the plate was taken away… and disappeared. More than 30 minutes of waiting without any information, no apology, no follow-up, nothing, just a complete void. So much so that a waiter later came to clear my table, surprised that I didn't have a plate in front of me. Meanwhile, my mother finished her meal, and I waited. Until the moment they offered to… reheat her half-eaten plate “while” I waited for mine. Surreal. Enough is enough. We left the restaurant after paying the bill. Result: an evening paid for, but without dinner. Mistakes happen. On the other hand, a complete lack of management, communication, and consideration is much harder to accept. Judging by the reviews, this experience is clearly perplexing. I won't be going back.

04/03/2026: Pleasant, convenient parking. Easier than going to Strasbourg. Quite busy for a Thursday afternoon. At one point, it got noisy; it's a shame my friend didn't want to sit on the outdoor terrace. I didn't try the food, but the menu on the wall is very original.

31/03/2026: Every time we're in Alsace, we make a point of stopping at this lovely restaurant, tucked away in the forest but not too far from town, with a large free parking lot. We're always greeted with a smile and good cheer. The dining room is spacious and the decor is pleasant. The tables are well-spaced, the food is top-notch, and there's a large terrace in the summer. The tarte flambée is perfectly cooked and beautifully topped. And even if you've already had a great meal, don't miss the desserts! (The giant profiterole is amazing!) Excellent value for money. Well done, keep it up!

20/02/2026: The place and setting are lovely, the food is excellent, the waiter is friendly, and the prawns are delicious. The chicken supremes are superb – you can't go wrong!

25/03/2026: Long wait and the food arrives cold, I don't understand. The cordon bleu sauce is the same, as are the tarte flambée, fries, etc. This was my last attempt, I'm sorry, especially since €3.90 for a 33cl can of Coke that's worth €0.59 is ridiculous.

19/03/2026: Four dinners at this restaurant… four evenings brimming with flavor, featuring perfect pairings and beautiful presentation. I was very pleasantly surprised and delighted not to have to leave the hotel for a good meal during a busy work week! The servers, Eva and Jérémy, are fantastic: discreet, smiling, and attentive. Everything was perfect! Bravo! 👍

24/03/2026: A friendly spot, ideal for sipping a cocktail (on the terrace) or toasting with a beer. The menu is short, a sign of quality. The tarte flambée is generous and excellent...and a special mention for the hanger steak with shallots, which is simply divine!

23/03/2026: The welcome, service, and atmosphere were top-notch, and the dishes were outstanding: trout gravlax with hummus followed by suckling pig with a reduction sauce, accompanied by wild garlic spaetzle! Bravo! I'll be back soon. Your country bread is equally delicious. Thank you!

17/04/2026: As regulars at the restaurant's themed meals, we were always very satisfied, except for the last Damfnudle evening on Thursday, April 9th. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we waited a very long time for the side dishes and never received the extra salad or water card. The waitress seemed rather indifferent to our requests. It's a shame because we really enjoy eating there!
