I really love Le Chastel. My mother and I first went there two decades ago when we first got into town and stumbled in after a long drive. As is true today, the service we received was exceptional. Lots of laughs, smiles and joy. I've been going to Chastel regularly ever since. It offers some great people watching, while still being off the main thoroughfare. I don't think the guide books highlight this spot, but I absolutely recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic! The service is simply excellent, the cuisine refined and healthy! Pleasant terrace, ambient music, and a very intimate atmosphere. We loved it and it's become our go-to restaurant in Aix-en-Provence! Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Passing through Aix with my husband, we had dinner. Perfect from beginning to end, thank you to the young waiters Ilies and his colleague who took care of our table and the service... everything was perfect.

The cuisine is refined and original. The dishes are beautifully presented. It features both local and Italian dishes. The atmosphere and terrace are pleasant. The servers are attentive. However, the owner lacks consideration for his employees: I witnessed a rather harsh reprimand directed at one of his young servers! Whatever the reason, this should take place outside the restaurant! A real shame.
