The atmosphere was great. Plus a bonus - the servers were very nice. Certainly get the French rosé and also anything truffle. As an American I really enjoyed this place. Please support the local restaurants. This is certainly the best. Janis and Dave/Davie were top notch!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Really great for Aix. Delicious, generous dishes, perfectly prepared – a real treat. Stylish, pleasant, relaxed, and attentive service that makes a real difference.
I'll be back with friends to share a good time and spread the word about this great place (rather rare in Aix, where you usually find ordinary, expensive dishes, presented carelessly, served by indifferent or even unpleasant waiters). BRAVO FOR THIS GREAT PLACE THAT VALUES AIX WITH ITS EXCELLENT SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Great find, the two male staff absolutely made it, very engaging, they got nice chairs from inside, recommended a fantastic wine, food was so good. We were recommend this by the Hermes shop, so expected high prices and it wasn't like that at all. Very reasonable, 5 mins away from the tourist traps. Loved it

A gem! Exceptional restaurant.
The food is outstanding; everything is refined, fresh, and perfectly executed from start to finish. You can taste the genuine care put into the ingredients.
The waitstaff is extraordinary: smiling, attentive, and highly professional, yet unpretentious.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease.
Located on a pleasant and quiet little square, it's perfect for enjoying your meal.
We will definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

I really love Le Chastel. My mother and I first went there two decades ago when we first got into town and stumbled in after a long drive.
As is true today, the service we received was exceptional. Lots of laughs, smiles and joy. I've been going to Chastel regularly ever since. It offers some great people watching, while still being off the main thoroughfare.
I don't think the guide books highlight this spot, but I absolutely recommend it.
