Well, my little dwarf, I was warmly welcomed. The restrooms are clean. The service is imgpekab. I prefer multicolored cats, but like Ardisson on a black background, like Monsieur Nwar. Thank you so much for the welcome and thank you Angoulême for this OfficieldelaBD2026. You'll find me wearing my Pikachu or Raichum hat. I don't like doorknobs. MEAAAAAAOUUUUUÛÛÛÛÛ 🐈🐱😸😹😺😻😼😽🐾🐾🐾

The food was good. The children's menu at €11.50 without dessert was a shame. The French toast was very generous and tasty. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) was €8, which is outrageous. I was very disappointed. It's a shame to end a meal like that. The waitress, who wasn't very persuasive, explained that she was clearing out her summer ice cream. We told them about my disappointment with the dessert, but they offered no compensation. It's a shame.

A cozy, weekday atmosphere just before Christmas... An iconic Angoulême café on the Place des Halles. A beautiful place, lovely decor, and very welcoming staff. I didn't eat there, just stopped for an afternoon drink... delicious!!

While in Angoulême on a business trip, I had lunch three times at Le Chat Noir: a very warm welcome and excellent service from Junior (thank you!) who was very accommodating to my time constraints. The food is also delicious; I highly recommend it and will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again!

The servers are friendly and welcoming, the prices are reasonable, there's a lovely terrace, and the restrooms are very clean – it's a small detail, but clean restrooms mean a spotless restaurant.

26/01/2025: Mini stay in Angoulême with my 11 year old daughter welcomed like a princess! A huge thank you to Estelle for her warm, generous and caring welcome as well as to the team who went out of their way to make this stay a delight. Thanks also to the equally adorable and attentive restaurant team (Samih is a gem). In addition to this general kindness, the hotel has a library where you instantly feel at home. The pleasure of playing a vinyl chosen from the selection available, the possibility of borrowing a book and the impeccable service of a much appreciated coffee and hot chocolate upon our arrival. Until the end the feeling of being pampered. Thank you and looking forward to coming back ❤
26/01/2025: everything was super nice, and especially the welcome and kindness of the reception. You should say more about parking so that we can reach it when arriving without having to find parking nearby.

Le bistrot gourmand

22/11/2025: We regularly return to this establishment when we're shopping nearby. We're always pleased with the food, the portion sizes, the service, and the overall experience. Today's special was Alsatian-themed. The sauerkraut was very good, but there were other options available.
12/10/2025: Super convenient restaurant in the Leclerc market. Very professional and friendly service. Good quality dishes and desserts. Very affordable prices.
