A very pleasant surprise at "Le 102," a restaurant next to the tapas bar "Le River": we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful time at dinner. The waiter was welcoming, attentive, and always smiling. The dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. Special mention goes to the lovely, idyllic terrace and the tables overlooking the Charente River. The desserts are simply excellent.

Arriving without a reservation on a Saturday evening, we received a very warm welcome. The beef tongue (rarely offered in restaurants) was very good, and the floating island dessert was excellent. The pastry chef even offered us a taste of the crème anglaise before we ordered; I don't usually like overly sweet desserts. Well done for this professionalism! I recommend this establishment.

What a pleasant discovery during my stay in Angoulême! The welcome, the atmosphere, the meat, and the homemade fries were delicious. An address I'll keep and recommend. On sunny days, this place must be even more enjoyable. Congratulations on your professionalism.

Finally, a good DJ! We had a fantastic evening on November 21st. I'll definitely come back if it's the same DJ. I had two very bad experiences with the previous DJ... This one was perfect!

The service was exceptionally precise, pleasant, and professional, thanks to Tief in the dining room. He really pampered my family. A huge thank you for this lovely lunch at 102 Restaurant by Le River. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly. Most of the dishes were good and reasonably priced. The lunch menu was also reasonably priced.

11/03/2026: Visiting Angoulême for the day, we stumbled upon this restaurant around noon. So we decided to give it a try... The welcome was impeccable, the service perfect, and the setting pleasant. And we weren't disappointed with the dishes we ordered. All this at reasonable prices. We highly recommend this restaurant.
