I have known Le Chat since it opened and I always enjoy eating there when I come to Sancerre. The flavors of the cuisine and the inventiveness of the Chef delight us every time. The wine list is impressively current and high quality while keeping reasonable prices, far from the Parisian madness.

Small, pleasant restaurant with a bistro-style corner upon entering, and a small terrace at the back. Small note, the Amuses bouches are extra even on the menu at 35 euros 😢 Too bad. Otherwise, to do 👍

Very nice discovery. While passing through the region, we had dinner at this establishment. Very tasteful menu with quality and an extensive wine list. Small slate menu which allows you to have quality products and a combination of flavors. Establishment to recommend.

Endroit atypique au milieu de nul part, cuisine recherchée et savoureuse, service sympa. La gamme de vin est aussi large que la gamme de prix. Seul bémol : lancement du repas un peu long. Pour autant, nous retenons un bon moment.

Nice establishment. Friendly welcome. Very good dishes very nicely presented. Everything was tasty, the combination of flavors was very, original, bold and it was a treat for the taste buds. You can create your own menu with the dishes written on the slate, as there are several options available. Remember to make a reservation before coming to the restaurant

This was the 3rd time I dined at the cat. For the first time I was disappointed. A hypercooked tuna steak. I will come back anyway

09/09/2024: restaurant bien placé dans une rue piétonne disposant d'une terrasse accueil sympathique et service agréable cuisine de plats gouteux faits avec des produits frais (par contre, pas de plats adaptés aux enfants ) bonne cave
07/09/2024: Little family evening unfortunately wasted. No doubt a good restaurant but without children, although indicated when booking. A small portion of fries made from a potato they don't know. Restaurant without children's menu he will watch you eat. Too bad to be disappointed with our experience. Restaurant for adults only

29/08/2024: A big THANK YOU to Sarah & Thomas for their service during our wedding. Beyond the delicious dishes, with compliments from all the guests, the service was perfect! The entire team is caring, smiling and available. They took great care of all of us. The cocktail, dinner and brunch were a delight. They were a great help for the organization, with unpredictable weather. I recommend them with my eyes closed, for cooking but also for human relations, they are brilliant.
29/08/2024: We recommend Sarah and Thomas with our eyes closed. We called on them for our wedding (cocktail / dinner / brunch) and they were… perfect! Available, responsive, taking great care of us, we can only thank them because if we had an unforgettable time, it is largely thanks to them! All our guests were delighted, the food was excellent, and the service too! Thanks again to you 🙏
