We recently spent two unforgettable nights at La Chateau Des Alpilles in Saint Remy de Provence with friends, and it was nothing short of magical. This beautiful chateau, the only one in Provence still owned by the same family, radiates warmth and charm in every corner. The family and staff welcomed us with such genuine hospitality, making us feel as if we were guests in their own home. The atmosphere is both elegant and cozy, blending the grandeur of a historic chateau with the comfort of a peaceful retreat. Every detail, from the well-preserved architecture to the thoughtfully appointed rooms, made our stay a perfect balance of luxury and homey charm. The grounds are equally enchanting, with picturesque views that highlight the beauty of Provence. Whether relaxing in the gardens or enjoying time by the pool, we felt completely immersed in the tranquility of this special place. Our favorite hotel experience ever. We spent 4 nights here for our honeymoon and had an exceptional time. Breakfast and dinner in front of the hotel are exceptional and the venue is stunning. The rooms are quiet and an absolute Provençal dream. The entire place feels like a fairytale. The staff as very welcoming and assisted with everything from running routes to birthday surprises. Can’t wait to go back!

I had the opportunity to participate in the special Thursday and Saturday events organized by Bodega Lagarde and its restaurants at Château des Alpilles, and both evenings were unforgettable experiences. The first evening offered a six-handed menu, an exquisite journey of flavors that combined the best of French and Argentinian cuisine. Beyond the exceptional culinary level and the impeccable service, the place is simply magical, with a unique charm that reflects its history, its dedication and the love with which it has been maintained by a passionate family. The gardens, immersed in a timeless atmosphere, invite you to dream and relax. The second evening offered a true Argentinian experience, with a large fire among the tables, perfect for enjoying high quality grilled meats and exceptional wines. Apart from these unique events, I invite everyone to discover the Château. Ideally located, just 2 km from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, with its charming boutiques, and close to Arles. For those looking for a quieter stay, the hotel's facilities are second to none, with a gym, swimming pool, and the real gem of the property: its gardens with century-old trees. The Château's service is restrained and highly personalized, designed for those who value human warmth and quality rather than the uniformity of large hotel chains. Every detail is carefully considered, creating an intimate and exclusive experience for guests. The gastronomic offering is local and fresh, and the service, from the kitchen to the room service, is exceptional. Qué experiencia increíble anoche en la terraza del castillo de Alpilles. La cocina, preparada bajo la dirección del talentoso joven chef argentino del restaurante y su no menos impresionante equipo, es simplemente divina: el factor sorpresa de los tres tomates gaspacho (foto) está simplemente fuera de las listas, pero todos los platos que experimentamos fueron extremadamente buenos también: desde el cordero hasta la lubina a través de la langosta todo tiene esta ligereza de ensueño y explosión de sabores. En cuanto al suflé de limón y frambuesa dejémoslo en: ¡YESSSSSSSSSSS! Gran consejo de vino de los jóvenes maravillosos (también! ) El sumiller mauriciano Andrew, que ejerce su oficio con habilidad y sabiduría que desmienten su edad. Como nuestros huéspedes, que han venido a la región durante décadas, lo dicen mejor: “este es posiblemente el mejor bar restaurante ninguno en un radio de 200 km”,

A 5* hotel. Highly recommend reserving a dinner table under the canopy, well in advance. The Chef, cuisine and team should get a star. I can only assume Michelin never found this hidden gem, otherwise they would have handed them one on a golden plate.

A charming and ideal place to rest. They have an Argentinian chef who is wonderful. We had dinner twice and everything seemed exquisite. They treated us very well. The owner is charming.

We made reservations for lunch last week based on the gorgeous photos of the dining room and recommendations from friends in the area. There is no reservation mechanism for the dining room other than to call or email to ask for a reservation. Unfortunately, no one ever responded to our email request. So we called and were advised that it was next to impossible to obtain a dinner reservation because priority is given to guests staying at the hotel and, the reality is that the chateau has more rooms than it does tables to offer even them. It was suggested that we make reservations for lunch and of course, we were thrilled. What we didn’t know was that lunch was served at the pool not the restaurant; as in the pool bar/cafe. It was a little bizarre to have formal food like a whole fish deboned table side in a setting normally reserved for burgers and hot dogs, where kids are screaming either because they are having fun in the pool, would prefer to go back to the pool rather than have lunch or are just tired because they needed a nap, not lunch. That part was disappointing, especially since we were dressed for a nice restaurant. Not criticizing the hotel but rather, just a know before you go tip. The food however, was delicious but in my view, meant to enjoy in more refined circumstances.
