Cauldron masterclass. We went there during the off-peak period in March and although the city is empty at this time (even on a Saturday evening), this little restaurant is a little haven of peace. The manager is very friendly and the service is excellent. The food is exactly what I'm looking for when I go to a restaurant: tasty dishes, with an acceptable portion in terms of quantity and affordable prices (€25.80 for the starter main course dessert menu in this tough economic context it's a prowess). I definitely recommend this place if you are careful to book

An excellent surprise when coming to Le Chaudron by chance. Beautiful setting, delicious cuisine, warm welcome, a pleasant moment surrounded by magnificent paintings. Very attractive menu, home cooking.

28/03/2024: Very nice little, simple, restaurant, with friendly service. Delicious burgers. It took a little long time to prepare the food, but it was worth waiting.
20/03/2024: Outdoor seating, which is lovely in a nice day. The place is nothing to run home about. A little hole in the wall. Owners/staff very friendly. Was very happy to find this location open and serving when most other places had closed for lunch already. Tried two items: veggie burger w/fries & chicken burger. I’d have to say the bun was the best part. Fresh and soft. The rest of the food was greasy. The fries were a little soggy or extra crisp but really greasy. Maybe I would go back to try a regular burger and get a side salad instead. It worked for needing a spot to relax for a moment and get something in the belly.

Restaurant Le J

04/04/2024: Absolute great experience with Restaurant Le J, the owner was super friendly and patiently explained the whole menu in English. The menu was designed based on the fresh ingredients they get on the day and was presented in a creative way. The main courses (especially the prawn dish) had multiple layers of flavours and textures that worked out well. The dessert was a bomb and a must try! The caramelised hazelnuts on top was a highlight. It is relatively pricy but it matches with the quality you get. Overall it’s very worth it!
