This restaurant is quite popular, so it's wise to book ahead. Excellent dishes (lamb, pork)! We'll gladly return. The service was a little rushed, but a smile quickly smoothed things over.

What a wonderful discovery! A warm welcome, generous cuisine, attentive service, a relaxing atmosphere: background music, mountain-style decor, plants, LED lights on the ceiling, and very reasonable prices! We'll be back!

We came for Valentine's Day, and no one informed us when we booked the set menu at €48… The menu lacked information about the dishes, and luckily we asked about the ingredients of the amuse-bouches because my husband had an allergy.
We weren't given a menu for aperitifs, so we ordered without knowing the price… which was more than a little unprofessional… The food itself was good, but we were very disappointed with the main course, which consisted of a few undercooked vegetables that were barely there. The starter was excellent, but the rest was just average for the price. The service was a bit disorganized, and since we couldn't get the servers' attention, we gave up on the idea of ordering wine.
Overall, a mixed experience.

Delicious food, friendly and efficient service, a pleasant restaurant for a quiet meal, and the music was ideal (not too quiet, not too loud, good music selection, and not disturbing anyone). A sufficiently wide selection of starters and main courses, including some full menus and suggestions. The prices are reasonable. The plates look well-presented. Definitely worth returning to Morteau on your next visit. Highly recommended.
