A warm welcome! Top-notch service from Thomas, who was fantastic from start to finish, always smiling and friendly! The meals were hot and delicious! Absolutely no complaints! They did forget the wine glasses, but if you do, just ask—it happens to the best of us!
From beginning to end, we savored our time at Le Chaudron! I don't understand the 3-something rating at all!!!! I'll be back soon and with pleasure! They accept American Express! Thomas, it was a pleasure! And a big thank you to the restaurant manager, whose name I don't know!

Lunch menu at 18 euros with a starter, main course, and dessert, average quality. The Morteau sausage was good with the Cancoillotte cheese sauce, the fries were ordinary. Friendly waiter.

The welcome was icy cold; I was ready to leave, but there wasn't much else open... luckily the cheese fondue was good. It's a shame the waitress was so unpleasant.

We ordered lamb shank and pork knuckle; both were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned – a real treat! My only slight reservation concerns the side dish: frozen fries were a bit of a letdown with this type of meal. Sautéed potatoes or homemade fries would have been more appropriate. I think there are other dishes worth trying, and I recommend it. The price is very reasonable.

A very pleasant restaurant. The food is very good, the setting is calm and rustic. The service could be improved, however. Nevertheless, we had a very nice anniversary celebration, thank you! 🙃

The initial welcome was extremely cold... I wanted to leave immediately, but the rest of the experience was worthwhile... the food was excellent and reasonably priced... the atmosphere didn't exactly inspire confidence in wanting to work there... best of luck to the new waitress... PS: there was a minor billing issue to finish...

Friendly atmosphere, good service, and phenomenally delicious food. I had the more expensive set menu for €39.90. For the starter, I enjoyed a large slice of fine foie gras with confit onions and brioche. For the main course, a huge piece of excellent quality beef fillet with morel sauce. I had to skip the cheese course due to lack of space. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicate crème brûlée and a superb chocolate cake. My partner had the set menu for €29.90 and was just as enthusiastic as I was. We'll definitely be back.

After a rather frosty welcome that makes you want to leave (the staff is clearly understaffed, and the waitress loudly proclaims that she would have preferred a reservation), the rest of the experience is quite different. The meal was excellent, no complaints there.
I recommend it once you get past the initial reception.
