I admit I had my doubts on the way home, but by the end of the evening I didn't want to leave. The service was excellent, and the dish was generous and perfectly executed!

€29 per person for 3 people (€87.50 in March 2026). Good food in a very large, understated dining room with a rather modern, slightly minimalist style. Quite a bit noisy. Comfortable seating. Professional service. (++) Munster cheese tarte flambée (€13.50). A good tarte flambée, just the way I like it: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. (++) Veal kidneys (€21). Ordered pink and served pink. Good and generously portioned. With sautéed potatoes. (++) Pork cheeks (€20). Good jus and a good dish. (++) Apple crumble tart (€5.50). Good dessert. (++) Profiteroles (€10). 3 cream puffs. Good. Tea (€3.50). Coffee (€2.10). 2 glasses of Pinot Gris (2 x €4). 1 Pepsi Max (€3.90).

Dinner with my daughter in a warm and pleasant setting. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly and smiling. Excellent traditional cuisine; we highly recommend this restaurant. We will gladly return with our family.

07/04/2026: €45 per person for 3 people (€133.60 in March 2026). Good food, beautiful dining room with elaborate winstub-style decor, professional, warm, and attentive service from Matthieu. Comfortable chairs/benches. Large bar separating two rooms. Clean restrooms. Good dinner. The ambiance and service overshadow the food alone. 2 x Alsatian set menus (€42) (++) Casserole of 6 snails. Snails cooked properly in garlic butter. Good dish as expected. The waiter stated that the snails came from the Vosges Moselle region. +) Mixed salad with foie gras, raw vegetables, 1 slice of cured ham, 2 1/2 toasted slices, thin slice of foie gras. Quite good dish, nothing extraordinary. (++) Sauerkraut with 5 garnishes. Good dish. The acidity of the cabbage was well-balanced. The meats were undoubtedly steamed. That said, I prefer pork roasted until caramelized. (+++) Roasted ham hock with Munster cheese. It needed a little more Munster sauce. We had to ask for more. A very good dish, even if the meat lacked a bit of tenderness and caramelization. (-) Slices of Vacherin glacé (x2). No flavor whatsoever. Ice creams with very bland flavors. A very thin layer of meringue. Completely uninteresting. Seeing my disappointment, the waiter offered me a small slice of farmhouse Munster cheese, which was very good with some nice bread. À la carte: (+) Pan of gratinéed spaetzle with Munster sauce (€22). Served with a small salad. A fairly good dish, a little stingy with the sauce. (++) Blueberry tart (€7.50). A good tart, not too sweet. 2 glasses of Pinot Gris (2 x €5.50); ​​1 Coca-Cola Zero (€3.70); 1 tea (€2.90); 1 espresso (€2.50)
