We enjoyed our last night in Alsace. We made the right choice; a great dinner. Excellent quality, food, and service. The cordon bleu and tarte flambée were unbeatable!

It's always a pleasure to visit Le Cheval Noir in Ribeauvillé. The very friendly owner always finds you a small table. Good brasserie cuisine, excellent value for money 👍. Always a pleasant experience for several years now. The brasserie has been modernized but remains just as charming. See you soon for our next visit. Just as enjoyable in September 2022, just as enjoyable in October 2023. Returning in July 2026, the food and service are still top-notch.

Traditional kitchen, with hearty dishes like flammkuchen. We loved the Escargot in butter and herbs and the pork cheeks with spätzle. Would not recommend the sauerkraut springrolls though.

A traditional restaurant located at the beginning of Grand Rue in Ribeauville. The menu offers traditional Alsatian dishes, and the portions are generous. We had the veal cutlet with chips and spaetzle, and everything was delicious. Quick service and reasonable prices. I recommend it.

26/07/2026: We had dinner at this place. It is on the center of town in a cosy square. Most of the guests seemed to be tourists. The menu focuses on local classics and typical brasserie and bistro classics. Good solid food without being a stunning meal. Good and fast service. Recommended for a quick dinner.

24/07/2026: We had an excellent evening at this restaurant. A special mention goes to the gentleman of Albanian origin who served us. He was incredibly kind. Thank you! The only slight drawback (hence the 4 stars for the food) was the wine in the vol-au-vent. It wasn't listed on the menu, but the flavor was quite strong. My wife found it a bit much, though. I was less bothered. Probably just a matter of taste. ☺️
24/07/2026: We celebrated our wedding anniversary there, an unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, the food was superb – in short, don't change a thing, we won't forget you, that's Alsace for you!
