Le Chevreuil sur Meursault

A promising new restaurant. Beautifully executed and tasteful cuisine, a lovely terrace, and meticulous decor. Booking is easy. The restaurant was quite flexible in accommodating our party of eight on a Sunday lunchtime, even though we booked at 11:30 am. Thank you. The first drawback was that our aperitif order arrived more than fifteen minutes after we ordered, after two reminders. Our waitress was clearly overwhelmed, which detracted from her smile. The terrace's shade needs improvement, as one of our guests spent lunch in direct sunlight. And it was intense. The food was very enjoyable, with a special mention for the fennel salad. The concept of sharing plates isn't necessarily easy to grasp. I had the trout. It was delicious. In conclusion, there are a few things to work out, but this could become a must-visit in Meursault.

A superb discovery during a weekend stay at this completely renovated establishment. The room and bedding were extraordinary, and we enjoyed a beautiful terrace for dinner. The menu wasn't extensive, but the food was excellent, with a focus on sharing. And what can I say about breakfast?! The staff was young and very professional. A place you absolutely must discover.

We had such a beautiful and memorable stay at this hotel. Everything was exceptional, from the atmosphere and setting to the wonderful hospitality. The restaurant was truly phenomenal. We ended up having dinner there both nights because the food was simply that good, especially the meat, which was some of the best we’ve ever had in our lives. It was absolutely outstanding. The pool area was another highlight. Set on a beautiful, serene patio, it was the perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There was such a calming atmosphere that made it easy to completely unwind. The location is fantastic. The village itself is absolutely charming, and you can simply walk out the front doors of the hotel and explore the lovely restaurants and atmosphere right nearby. You can also take bikes directly from the hotel and cycle through the beautiful vineyards, stopping along the way to visit the many local wineries. It’s such a wonderful way to experience the area. Overall, it was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Beautiful, peaceful, delicious, and incredibly charming. We absolutely loved our stay and will be happily returning.

Dinner at the restaurant on the garden terrace. It's a magnificent spot in a very pretty town. The dining rooms and terraces are decorated in a chic, contemporary style. A beautiful infinity pool completes the experience. The dinner, based on a shared table style (like southern tapas), was very well executed. It was served with enthusiasm by smiling waiters. A pleasant surprise awaited us when we opened the wine list; it felt like we had the entire local terroir at our fingertips. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

We had the pleasure to enjoy a stay at Maison Le Chevreuil in late August 2026. Everything was exceptional - from the impeccable service to the stunning interiors, from the coziest room to the central location in Meursault. Every detail holds a true sense of place! Highlights of our stay were the exceptional dinner at the "terre" restaurant and riding the hotel's bikes through Burgundy vineyards. A big thank you to Nicole, Kalia and Jeanne for making Le Chevreuil truly feel like our "Maison"!

Restaurant Terre Superb terrace overlooking the vineyards with a relaxing pool area. Excellent wine list and a unique sharing platter concept. An unpretentious restaurant with innovative cuisine and original seasonings. In short, a must-visit stop in Meursault.

We were among the first guests after a complete renovation of the hotel and the restaurant. We loved the design - very modern and stylish but as well very warm and fitting well with the old building. We enjoyed the bike tour to Beaune with ebikes supplied by the hotel and then listening to the sommelier in the evening explaining what we had seen and recommending us a wine from a village we had passed through.

A beautifully renovated establishment, tastefully decorated with high-quality materials. A warm welcome awaits you at the Terre restaurant, which offers a refined yet high-quality menu. The wine selection is equally impressive, and the bartender is adept at creating bespoke cocktails. However, the portions are a bit small, and the small stinginess of charging extra for side dishes is a little excessive. But it's a reopening, and adjustments will surely be made based on positive feedback. A restaurant to dine in without hesitation.
