Tucked away in a quiet little alley in the city center, this restaurant offers delicious cuisine. Everything is perfectly portioned and beautifully presented. The person who seated and served us was very friendly and polite. The value for money is excellent. A bistro just the way we like them. A wonderful discovery that delighted my taste buds. This is a good old fashioned French restaurant and should be celebrated or preferably visited. The waiter is excellent, discret and prompt. The food was ‘faite maison’ and excellent. The skin on my duck was cooked to perfection (crisp) whilst the meat within was succulent. My wife’s fish dish was the best we’ve tasted in five weeks of touring around france. The crème brûle was one of the best I’ve had. Well done for keeping the flag flying for good French cooking : we loved it. But, finally, I must commend the waiter - our CB didn’t work and we had to visit the local bank to pay the bill - all done with minimum fuss and maximum trust in what was for us quite embarrassing experience in this day and age. Many thanks for a rewarding experience.

Traditional, rather simple cuisine that will appeal to offal lovers. Unpretentious dishes, reminiscent of old-fashioned home cooking. However, no draft beer, which is a shame. The welcome was truly delightful; the gentleman was very kind. The decor is nice, the place is small but has real potential. A little more effort on the dishes and the overall use of the space could make all the difference.
