Le Clem's sur Haguenau

A lovely restaurant in downtown Haguenau. The setting and decor are beautiful and cozy. You feel right at home. It's not noisy. The service is pleasant and professional. The food is delicious, the dishes are well-prepared with elegant presentation. One small drawback: we asked for a dollop of whipped cream on the marble cake, which was charged at 50 cents. The price/quality ratio is a tad high for Haguenau compared to a bistro in Strasbourg. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. We recommend it.

A wonderful discovery at Clem's in Haguenau! We had a truly excellent meal: the dishes were delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the kitchen. The service was quick and efficient, with no unnecessary waiting, yet still pleasant. The team is very professional, friendly, and attentive to customers, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return!

An absolutely remarkable culinary experience. This lunchtime, it was sous-chef Maxime who was at the helm, and the result was simply stunning. The mastery of the cooking techniques and the balance of flavors demonstrate immense talent. You can feel the cohesive team and the promising future of the kitchen. A lovely restaurant with delicious food. The tuna salad was fantastic. Friendly service. Reservations are recommended, even for lunch.

Second experience, again disappointing. Cold room with little heating. Tables crammed together. The "gourmet coffee" was very disappointing, with a brownie as hard as concrete and a glass filled only with whipped cream… it was the same last time. The price is too high. Disappointed.

Fourth visit to this restaurant. The first three were excellent, but the last one (a couple's meal, starter, main course, and dessert) was not worth remembering. The starter (gravlax trout) was devoured in three bites and was truly nothing special. I thought I'd make up for it with the main course. What a disappointment! There wasn't enough of it; cilantro was listed on the menu, and since I love cilantro, there was probably only half a leaf. No sauce to bring everything together with the fish. Dry. In short, disappointed, especially considering the price. A young man who made the same choice told his friend he was disappointed with the portion size and that he could have made the same thing at home. The service was impeccable, unfortunately at odds with the quality and quantity of the food.
