A bit disappointed, a tourist trap like in many tourist towns. An avocado and salmon salad that was, by the way, a mountain of salad with half an avocado, no presentation whatsoever. The main course was completely unpretentious: tagliatelle with salmon, served cold. And to top it all off, a "gourmet coffee" (help!), I've never seen anything like it: a pot of red fruit coulis? Plus three unidentified items. We expressed our dissatisfaction, but received no response whatsoever. 😡

The location at the foot of the ramparts is ideal, and the setting is pleasant, especially in the evening. The two pizzas I ordered were very good. No complaints about the food. The service was efficient, with little waiting. The waiter was friendly, though not very smiley. When I went to the restroom, I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness in both dining areas and the restrooms. The atmosphere in the dining room was gloomy, even unsettling. Perhaps there was a problem with communication among the staff.

The upstairs terrace is pleasant and the pizzas are good. However, the cocktails were a huge disappointment: the Chambord spritz was flat, not sparkling, and tasted more like grenadine than the liqueur I know so well. The waiter was only marginally friendly. And the owner was rude to his employees; it was very inappropriate.

Good overall. The cordon bleu was an unexpected twist (a bit small). The suckling pig was average, and the salmon tartare was very good.

Online reservations at lunchtime for dinner. A table in the shade was very welcome in this heat. Quality cuisine for a lovely family meal.

21/09/2026: Good cocktails and a nice terrace, but their loud concert ruined the atmosphere; it was impossible to hear each other, we all left one after the other, what a shame...
16/09/2026: It's strange that so many reviews were negative. We were there at the end of August 2026, sitting outside under the trees/umbrellas, and had a good experience. The service was attentive and quick. Our pizzas were large and very good.

12/11/2025: We are disappointed with the afternoon opening hours; 3 pm is not teatime! Previously, we could enjoy delicious hot chocolates until early evening. It's a shame, because this place is very pleasant and welcoming, and there aren't many like it in downtown Blois. Would it be possible to reconsider your opening hours? Thank you very much.
08/11/2025: A menu priced at €9.50 surprised us! And in the end, the home cooking was quite good with pleasant service.
