Le Cochon Bleu was recommended to me, so I went in search of it. A little off the main tourist trail which made it feel so much more special, and clearly very popular with locals. The service was excellent, as was the food. Traditional French classics all cooked beautifully. I chose the 3 course menu option and indulged myself with Coquille St Jacques, Cuisse du Canard and finished up with a beautiful St Marcelin cheese. Wine recommendations were perfect too. As a solo dinner, I'm always particularly impressed with good service and a welcoming environment, and I wasn't disappointed. A very lovely evening, highly recommended

One of our favorite memories while traveling through Europe was this restaurant. Warm, friendly atmosphere and the food is MAGNIFICENT!!! Will absolutely visit again!!!

Superb experience! The meals are excellent and very generous. It's very good value for money. The service was perfect; the servers were attentive and caring. It's the best restaurant we've been to in the area. We highly recommend it.

Restaurant located within the walled city of Avignon, about 500 meters from the Palace of the Popes. Service was on the terrace as there was no air conditioning. The waiter was very attentive, and despite being Spanish, we were able to communicate in English and French. We ordered the set menu, which includes a starter, main course, and dessert for 39 euros. The St. Jacques coquilles are highly recommended as a starter; they were excellent. For our main courses, we ordered braised pork cheeks and a quenelle of fish, both delicious. The desserts, both the profiterole and the rum baba (with the option to customize the rum to your liking), were generous and also very good. The price is perfectly reasonable for what is offered: homemade and tasty food. Highly recommended.

Great stopover, small outdoor terrace, quality product and well-made

Excellent escargot and scallops, which were the highlights of the meal. The veal was slightly overcooked but still tender and served with a lovely caramel sauce. The Spider Pork was also very good. The set menu was very reasonably priced, making this a great-value meal overall. The only downside was that the food took a little while to come out. If dining outside for dinner, definitely ask for the bug spray—the restaurant has some available, which was a nice touch. Would recommend and would happily come back!

Your products are of excellent quality, very well cooked, and beautifully presented. Your service is truly top-notch. Your building is beautiful, your decor is elegant and sophisticated. Your terrace is lovely. The prices are reasonable. Moreover, considering the quality, the quantity, and compared to other restaurants... I'm delighted to have had the opportunity to dine with you twice. I won't forget Le Cochon Bleu, or Simon! If you're in Avignon, you absolutely must go ;)

Local, relaxed, reasonably priced, delicious meal. We had escargot, scallops, veal, pork spider, pork cheek. Stand out was escargot and veal. Highly recommend!
