A perfect place for a culinary journey, and much more... Under a shaded terrace, we enjoyed a (very) generous brunch made with high-quality ingredients. We almost forgot we were in the heart of La Rochelle. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

A truly wonderful spot right in the heart of the city, on Place Verdun. The welcome is incredibly friendly and warm, and the menu offers a great selection of original dishes, including five very well-thought-out breakfast options. The first option features a delicious French toast croissant.
The lunch menu is also very original, offering salads and dishes that, as the menu itself describes, "take you on a journey." I highly recommend it!

The Blue Café, a Mediterranean terrace in La Rochelle, is a wonderful discovery! I had their chicken sandwich with potatoes: a real treat, with a generous portion and an unbeatable price. Excellent value for money.
The only slight drawback: service can be a little slow between noon and 2 pm, so keep that in mind if you're short on time for lunch.
A big thank you to the whole team, they were very friendly!

Amidst the uninteresting breakfasts and ridiculous brunches of La Rochelle, here at last is a great place with fantastic breakfasts! Convenient opening hours, original and à la carte options, delicious and generous portions, all at a very reasonable price. And to top it all off, the owner is pleasant, professional, and friendly! Thank you! We'll gladly be back 😀👌 Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

A fantastic find in La Rochelle! Le Bleu Café is exactly the kind of place we love: warm, authentic, and efficient. Julien, the owner, truly takes excellent care of his customers; you can tell he loves what he does. Special mention to Anthony and Justine in the dining room—impeccable service, smiling and professional from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!
