Friendly bistro in a pedestrian street in La Rochelle, opposite the market. Good daily specials, daily menu with excellent value for money. This is our 2nd visit.

Only happiness Tartare and fish burger excellent as are the desserts. Smile and friendliness Great location Top on the terrace when the weather is nice. Well done, keep it up, we will come back.

Brasserie La Marine

07/08/2024: Simple but good rooms, helpful staff (but only present between certain hours), and excellent location. Few facilities or extra services. Highly recommend if your goal is to explore La Rochelle a day or a few days.
04/08/2024: We are a family of 5 with 3 daughters and need interconnecting rooms which is hard to find in France, especially in the centre of a historic city. Vincent in La Marine looked after everything for us and was a superb host. The location can't be bettered, breakfast was delicious and the rooms were excellent with a beautiful view over the old port. Thanks also to Vincent for recommending and booking dinner for us. We will definitely be back to La Rochelle and Hotel La Marine.
