Le Comptoir Breizh Cafe sur Saint-Malo

It was a treat, as usual. That little fig crepe with Bordier cream was absolutely divine! I highly recommend this experience.

The food was absolutely excellent. I think it was a little overpriced.

The galettes and crêpes are excellent and the service very efficient. The staff are very friendly. A place to remember, at least in Saint-Malo.

The welcome was really mixed, the white wine was served at cellar temperature (not great), and the service was cold. The oysters are extraordinary, as are the kakemono... but the place, which I've been to several times, is anything but cozy.

Truly original galettes and crepes!

I had always enjoyed this crêperie until now. However, we were very upset yesterday. I had a reservation for 9:30 pm, but I was told the kitchen closed half an hour later, and one of our guests couldn't find parking. We ordered and ate our main course as quickly as possible so we'd have time to order dessert. While we thought we'd have some time after dessert, we were served an aubergine without having asked for it, even though we'd only been there for about an hour. When it came time to pay, they suggested a minimum 5% tip (€8), which we didn't dare decline, but it seemed rather inappropriate. I don't understand how late reservations are possible if the service can't handle them. When we left, many restaurants were still serving, which was understandable for a Friday night.

Exceptional crepes and cider. Sitting at the bar offers a view of the chef in action. Limited outdoor seating. It is a rather small restaurant so reservations are advised.

The galettes were really delicious (cured ham, egg and vegetables) and the servers were very friendly! I recommend it!
