A very pleasant surprise. A warm welcome with attentive service (including a vegetable modification), quality cuisine, and reasonable prices. Bonus: a lovely spot bathed in spring sunshine.

This is our second visit while staying in the area. The food is very good, traditional. The short menu is a sign of freshness. Friendly service. Traditional setting. Highly recommended for a good meal with excellent value for money. Reservations are best.

I've eaten at this restaurant several times during the summer, on the terrace, because in addition to simple but good food, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere in one of Bourges' most beautiful squares. This time, as it was cold, we dined inside on the first floor. The food was still excellent, the service impeccable, with a pleasant and humorous young waiter. The restaurant allows you to see the authentic interior of a half-timbered house. The restrooms were very clean, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

18/04/2026: Great place: beautiful setting, excellent value for money, generous portions, and friendly service. We had a wonderful time as a family and will gladly return.
18/04/2026: Despite my best efforts regarding dietary restrictions (I have celiac disease), it unfortunately wasn't enough to prevent contamination. I was sick all weekend after my visit... Therefore, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone with the same condition. However, I would like to thank the staff for their warm welcome and for accommodating my dietary needs.
