We stumbled upon this restaurant just behind the harbor and it was a wonderful discovery! The concept is very original, with a large cold buffet where you can create your own plate according to your tastes, featuring homemade and seasonal products. Special mention goes to the summer vegetable tart, which was excellent!

We loved Walter's and went back twice. Easy going and friendly place, our daughter loved the chicken, and we loved everything. Great to find somewhere with lots of fresh veggie dishes, plus amazing quiches, roast chicken, etc. Hoping to return :)

Passing through La Rochelle with vegetarian children, we had the pleasure of having lunch at Walters. Seasonal produce was beautifully presented. Lovely salads, sublime quiches, and for us, a superb brandade de morue (salt cod purée) and a very good andouillette sausage (5 stars). Thank you Walters and your team!

30/07/2026: La Brûlerie du Marché has become a must-visit for me and is one of those simple everyday pleasures. The setting is welcoming, right in the heart of the market, and the atmosphere on the sunny terrace in the morning is truly delightful, not to mention the excellent coffee. Without a doubt, the best coffee in town. Special mention to Clara and her colleagues, who are always incredibly welcoming, smiling, and attentive. Thank you for all your positive energy!

21/08/2026: Amazing fries and hot dogs 😍 and super attentive service! A quiet spot on a charming little square in the city center, but far from the hustle and bustle of the old port.
20/08/2026: A detour to Place de la Fourche to discover SAVOR is highly recommended for a truly flavorful experience. The welcome and service are delivered with a smile and genuine care. The dishes are bursting with color. The bread is of a particularly high quality, a rarity in restaurants these days. A lovely terrace completes the experience. Will I return? Absolutely, without hesitation.
