I loved this little corner restaurant serving fresh home made food with delicious flavours and lovely staff greeting everyone with a smile…the street tables allow for a breeze at this warm time of year .. loved the tartiflette although I needed more to eat as it’s a little small.. my mother had the quiche which she loved … my son had the children’s chicken and salad / potatoes… desserts also v good and wine too… very happy to find this place :)

Friends recommended this place to us. We weren't disappointed! The welcome was warm, friendly, and incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious. Even our four-legged friends were welcome. At Comptoir de Walter, you get the warmth of the Charente region with a touch of Belgian flair... pure bliss! We'll definitely be back!

A fantastic spot in the St. Nicolas district of La Rochelle. The concept, almost like a caterer's shop, is great, with custom-made plates, fresh produce, and everything 100% homemade. The food is excellent, all served in a very friendly atmosphere. Go for it! 🍴

We ate there on August 13, 2026. I really liked the concept; you choose your dish based on what's on offer. We ate very well; it was excellent. Quick service and a warm welcome. The price for three people was very reasonable. I highly recommend it. (I came from Cher, 18200)
