Happened to find this by chance, and it was lovely. The waitress was extremely helpful as we do not have any French. She sat down and explained everything to us and recommended beautiful wine for me and my mother. Food was 10/10.

After a mistake in booking us in Pornichet instead of La Rochelle, they were kind enough to welcome us! 5/5 in every way: the staff is fantastic, the food is delicious, with a special mention for the chocolate mousse with Espelette pepper, olive oil, and fleur de sel! Go for it, but book ahead!

Just steps from the port of La Rochelle. A warm, vintage/flea market decor. Delicious oysters at good prices and quality homemade cuisine. Prices are very reasonable, as are the wines. Service and a smile included. A great find.

It was the only restaurant open tonight and we don't regret it at all. The pumpkin soup with a soft-boiled egg, then the spelt with mixed vegetables, and to finish, the caramel French toast was divine. I highly recommend it.

The seaweed purée served with beef tataki was a revelation: brilliant! All this in a stylish interior setting or on the peaceful terrace overlooking a charming little square. In short, a must-try!

19/04/2026: My partner and I went for lunch and we loved the concept of Walter's counter. The salad bar has a good variety, the salads we tried were delicious, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. We enjoyed our meals, especially the excellent andouillette sausage and the homemade side dishes – nothing to complain about. The service was quick and friendly – ​​well done!
