Good neighborhood bistro, a bit pricey

I visited this restaurant before. It's a hidden gem, a truly excellent bistro located near the Louvre Museum and the Palais Royal in Paris. It has a very homey and relaxed atmosphere. The interior is sophisticated yet comfortable, and I was introduced to it by a friend, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely meal while chatting with them. Every dish I had was truly delicious, showcasing the natural flavors of the ingredients, and the presentation was beautiful – I was extremely satisfied with the quality. The staff were also very kind and helpful, and I appreciated their detailed recommendations for wines. For anyone who wants to enjoy delicious French cuisine in a stylish and warm Parisian setting, I highly recommend this favorite restaurant.

It seems the lunch and dinner menus are different.. I went because I heard the lamb and veal were delicious, but they aren't on the lunch menu ㅠㅠ I had duck confit, cod, cassoulet, etc., and the food tasted average.

A very warm welcome, delicious food, and perfect service. The restaurant is ideally located and offers excellent value for money for a quality, intimate lunch.

A small, cozy restaurant just behind the Royal Palace. We tried four appetizers and three main courses, and everything was delicious. Special mention for the homemade cheesecake. Professional and friendly service. Vegetarian options available.

The quality of the food wasn't great for us. The bread was stale; The "Trout" (it was a Salmon fish. They insisted it was a Trout - but I am pretty sure it was a Salmon, and potentially a defrosted (by texture) one) had no seasoning at all and the veggies with it where... mushed and had a bit of a rotten flavor. The lamb came on top of plain Cuscus (with some "veggies" (potatoes) on the side). Fennel salad& Hummus where ok, I guess. Also, the bathroom was dirty. Which is strange considering we came for first service (5:30PM). All in all - the restaurant is beautiful, but the food was not cohesive and didn't have anything special. At least for us...

🍽️The best meal I’ve had in Paris so far! I can’t remember the name of the dish, but the fish was my favorite—the flavors were perfectly balanced and paired beautifully with the rice, which was surprisingly delicious. The restaurant itself is super cozy and cute. It has a private, dimly lit vibe that’s perfect for a date. If you’re looking for a romantic spot, definitely give this place a try! Let me know if you guys feel the same. 💸We went as a group of three, ordered three dishes, and it cost around €100.

The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, kindly explaining the menu to us even though we don’t speak French. Creative and delicious dishes, both savory and sweet, with flavors that felt well balanced and very comfortable for Asian tastes — not too salty, and desserts pleasantly sweet without being overwhelming (especially suitable for Taiwanese taste). Would definitely come back next time we visit Paris. Highly recommended!
