Le Comptoir des Petits Champs was excellent. We had reservations for lunch and tried both a chicken dish and a fish dish, and everything was incredibly good. The food tasted very fresh and was prepared really well. You could tell they care about the ingredients and about making each dish taste great. We really enjoyed our meal here and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food is good overall but could use some improvements (the fish was overcooked, the seasoning was just okay, for example).
The service was really mediocre… The waiter was jaded, unresponsive, and didn't smile… The place itself is nice.

A fusion of Mediterranean and French cuisine. From the first floor, you can catch a glimpse of the greenery of the Palais Royal. For appetizers, we ordered grilled halloumi cheese, ceviche, grilled carrots, leeks with a yogurt-based sauce, aubergine, and the fish of the day. Everything was seasoned just right and delicious. The staff were charming and very kind to the children. Recommended if you're tired of bistros and brasseries.
