Very warm welcome and good food, the setting is superb.

We came here on a friend's recommendation and received an incredibly warm welcome from the very first moment – ​​even our little dog was more than welcome. Since we were just passing through and really wanted to try some local cheese, we received wonderful advice. The couple speaks excellent English and even took the time to translate the menu for us. The food was simply fantastic, the wine perfectly paired, and the service exceptionally friendly. You can tell how much love and care goes into everything they do. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back on our next visit!

From afar: cheeses and wines, I'm going in. In front of the window: no tables, just takeaway dishes, is it a restaurant? I hesitate. And then I go in: perfect welcome, a free table among the twenty or so seats the restaurant has. Takeaway dishes do indeed seem to be an important part of the business; I even took two slices of pie for my afternoon snack, they were calling my name and I couldn't resist. The prices are on the higher end of average, but by choosing the daily special (there are several) you get perfect quality, a sufficient quantity for a very reasonable price. My risotto was delicious. My wife found her smoked salmon salad a little small. The charcuterie board we shared as a starter was very good and quite filling. All the dishes are clearly homemade. Fresh, delicious meals and welcoming, kind service. We came with our 3 year old as we wanted to have an early dinner and had the best time!

The German waiter was so polite at such a young age. I like that they are supported, keep it up!

Discovered by chance… but this culinary gem and the owner's hospitality are well worth the effort. Don't miss the wine cellar downstairs!
