Shawarma pitta, hearty, generous and excellent

When we arrived we were greeted by a man who I assume was the owner, who promptly brought a bowl of shredded cabbage with chives and vinegar to nibble on. We ordered steak frites and was given a hamburger patty. Not really sure what I was charged for since there was no ticket, only the credit card machine with a total was presented. People inside seemed shocked to have non-locals eating here, and there was a lot of gawking and whispering going on. The man I assume was the owner was nice, and the hamburger patty wasn't bad, but I never felt comfortable here. Mildly average.

The price-quality ratio is acceptable, nothing more.

Excellent restaurant, plenty of food, each main course is a large and satisfying portion, excellent service. Recommend.

Let's just say it's a kosher Flunch... a type of fast food still relatively unknown to this day. It would be far too difficult to change course, given how dominant the brand is. I won't even mention the food, which is nothing special in terms of taste, refinement, or presentation. The service is minimal, all for 94 euros for a couple, excluding wine and a shared dessert. One last piece of advice: if you ever find yourself there, bring earplugs, as the background noise is so loud and disturbing that it will drive you out the door as quickly as possible.
